One last reminder that this Saturday's kids Karate class and adult Sumo class are cancelled. Greg and I (along with some students) will be teaching at the South West Martial Arts Show in Bristol, so be sure to attend either the Thursday or Sunday kids class this week.

Joe's Competition Bouts at the Sumo England Open Tournament | Sunday 13th September 2026

It was a nice surprise to have SAK student Johnny turn up at today's session. As it was his first class, we focused on some fundamentals of Sumo - squat, elbows in, push with hands and head, win the Tachi-Ai. Then we revised all of this with lots of bouts.
Awesome job Johnny.
