AHS Sport Ambassadors

A huge well done to our S2/3 Netball Team today who came second place in the plate tournament at the Fife Schools Netball Tournament.

Everyone played absolutely amazing and showed great sportsmanship to fellow players. Being persistent throughout, even when games didn’t go quite to plan!

A massive congrats to Olivia (S3) who was awarded fairest player today!

Finally a thank you to the teachers and organisers that made today possible!

To celebrate Scottish Women & Girls in Sport Week Young Ambassadors delivered an event for S1 & S2 girls to enjoy taster sessions for a variety of sports!

Activities included:

Fitness 🏋️‍♂️
Dance 💃🏻
Rugby 🏉
Netball 🏐
Baton Twirling 💃🏼
Dodgeball 🥎

With over 100 pupils taking part it was a great event, demonstrating the benefits of being physically active!

Massive well done to all the Young Ambassadors for planning and delivering 👏👏

⭐️Volunteers Week 2023⭐️

😊As Volunteers Week 2023 draws to a close we would like to say a massive thank you to all of the volunteers involved within our cluster and also those involved in the whole of Active Schools Fife.

😁We think you are all amazing!

Today, our S2 netball team took part in the Fife Netball Tournament and played amazingly!

It was their first time playing as a team and placed 2nd in the plate cup! Which was an amazing outcome.

While playing well they also worked great as a team, and showed outstanding sportsmanship towards other teams!

A huge shoutout to the team for working their socks off not only today but also at training sessions for the last few months! A huge thanks to our Platinum ambassador, Caitlin, Miss Moffat and Mrs Farmer, who coach the team each week and have much to do with their success!

Well done everyone!!

It was great to have so many P6/7s up to Auchmuty last week for cluster league!

Where many primary school pupils took part in netball and football and had an amazing time challenging themselves!

A huge thank you too all of the young ambassadors and young leaders who made the afternoon possible!
