It's the clubs last game of the season today 🥺 The 2nd XI host Falkland 3rd XI at Gilvenbank Park, with a 12pm start. We hope everyone across both teams has a fun-filled day.

QUICK UPDATE ABOUT GILVENBANK PARK....

We are aware a travelling community has set up camp in Gilvenbank Park. We’re monitoring how this may affect cricket activities over the next few days, though we believe that planned activities and fixtures may be disrupted.

We’ll keep everyone updated, and we ask that our cricket community approach the situation with understanding and respect.

🏏 Glenrothes XI 141-9 v 113 a/o Perth Doo'cot XI
🏆 SPCU Recreational and Development League
📅 Sunday 23 August
📌 Gilvenbank Park, Glenrothes

Glenrothes made 141-9 from 35 overs, with Joe Myles (31) and Anas Tanveer (25*) steadying the innings after a mid‑order wobble. Perth’s Riley Taylor impressed with 4–20.

In reply, early wickets from Saran Karavadhi, Wahab Tawheedi, and a brilliant long‑on catch by Myles kept Glenrothes on top. Veteran Colin Jennings battled hard for 42, but Tanveer’s four wickets plus a direct‑hit run out from Myles sealed a 28‑run win.

Great spirit from both sides - thanks to Perth Doo’cot for a cracking game.

It's great to see how well all the young Gladiators are progressing in their cricket development!

Some of our younger Gladiators had a great time at the Largo Softball Festival on Sunday.

Four very close games, with plenty of standout moments for all the young cricketers taking part - from Largo, Dunfermline & Carnegie, Falkland and Glenrothes.

Sweetie time is also a hugely appreciated moment!

🏏 Meigle 199 a/o v 121 a/o Glenrothes
🏆 SPCU North East Championship
📅 Saturday 22 August
📌 Gilvenbank Park, Glenrothes

Glenrothes fell to Meigle at Gilvenbank Park, with the visitors making 199 thanks to a strong knock from Sivagnanam. Bimal Balan (4/33) and Mayank Sautiyal (3/35) bowled well, though dropped catches proved costly.

With the bat, Govind Singh (41) showed good intent, but regular wickets meant Glenrothes were all out for 121. Plenty of effort again - just a need to stretch innings deeper and protect the stumps better.
