A huge thank‑you to AMG Accountants for supporting Glenrothes Cricket Club with our brand‑new mobile pitch covers!

With the amount of rain we’ve had recently, these covers are already proving their worth - helping protect the square, improve playing conditions, and keep more cricket on this season.

This project was made possible through a matched‑funding sponsorship from AMG Accountants, led by Qasim Ahmad, whose generosity helped us reach our fundraising target. It’s another brilliant example of local businesses backing local sport, and we’re incredibly grateful.

Thanks again to everyone who contributed - players, supporters, and the wider community. Investments like this help the club grow on and off the field.

DFL volunteer Nic took his addiction to grass cutting to new heights today. The man went in so hard he came out looking like he’d been tackled head‑to‑toe by a lawnmower.

On the plus side, he still somehow found time to pull together a cracking tea spread for the 1st XI.

Commitment levels: unmatched.
