Did you know swimming builds lean muscle and boosts cardio without stressing your joints? Water provides natural resistance while rhythmic breathing rapidly drops cortisol levels, turning every lap into a full-body workout and active mental reset. 🏊‍♂️✨

💜 Support Ben in His 2026 Running Challenge! 💜

Our very own Ben Smith, personal trainer here at The Fountain Spa, is taking on multiple running events this year — including the Edinburgh Marathon Festival full marathon, Blackpool Half, Kilomathon, and Kirkcaldy Half — to raise funds and awareness for Epilepsy Scotland.

Ben was diagnosed with epilepsy in 2014, and fitness has been a huge part of helping him rebuild his confidence and wellbeing. Over the years, he’s raised over £5,000 for this incredible charity, and he’s continuing the journey in 2026!

If you’d like to support Ben and help make a difference for people living with epilepsy, you can visit his fundraising page here:

Let’s cheer him on as he runs for such an important cause! 🏃‍♂️💜
