The Scottish Ju-Jitsu Society offers you the opportunity of high quality training in the Japanese Martial Art Of Ju-Jitsu. Learn to punch, kick and throw.

Ju-Jitsu, Japanese for "compliant techniques", momentarily yields to an attacker's force, redirects it, and returns with a counter-attack. Learn restraint and locking techniques. Learn to grapple and remain effective on the ground. Training is undertaken in a disciplined and controlled environment. As Ju-Jitsu utilises skill rather than strength and brute force, this martial art is open and access

Congratulations to everyone who graded this morning. You all did brilliantly, rest assured, you gave a fantastic account of yourselves and made your clubs and instructors proud. Take a day or two to let it sink in, then itโ€™s back to workโ€”this is the SJJS way!๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
A huge thank you to our team of Backbelts and kyu grades who turned up today to support and assist in any way they could. The value you bring to these events is immeasurable. Weโ€™d also like to extend our appreciation to our grading assessors today, Sensei Scott & Sensei Mackay. Both instructors put our students through their paces and brought out the best in each and every one of them. Finally, thank you to Sensei McFarlane for running a fantastic course today focused on the revised Yellow Belt syllabus. It was a thoroughly enjoyable class, with lots of tips that Iโ€™m sure everyone will find useful going forward.

Have a great Sunday team!๐Ÿ‘Š
