WoodFest 2026
Just wanted to take this opportunity to thank DCM Events for their very generous donation of £200 towards the club in recognition of our support for this years community event.
It is always great to see parks being utilized for community events as often as possible.
We have received a great deal of positive feedback from our members who attended. We all know there were issues with the lack of portable toilets but thankfully Dean and his team helped with supplies and cleaning of the areas in the Clubhouse, which was greatly appreciated as we were light on volunteers.
I know Dean is looking to increase stall numbers, bins, looking at the layout for next year and portable toilets (including accessible toilets).
The rugby club will open next year to provide access to our welfare facilities, including a baby changing area.
Dean has also intimated that he and his family have purchased Christmas Lights to donate to the community, which is very kind of them.
Two slightly different events between this year and last, but equally fabulous. Great work by all involved in 2025 and 2026.
Looking forward to seeing what is on offer next year and working with organizers going forward.
Once again, thank you for the donation!
P.S. If anyone has photos please post them.
