A Keela garment begins long before the first piece of fabric is cut.
It begins with understanding the conditions in which it will be worn: how people move, where protection is needed and what happens when the weather turns.
Founded on the east coast of Scotland in 1989, we have spent decades developing outdoor clothing for changeable and demanding conditions. Our garments are tested both in the laboratory and in the real world, with feedback from outdoor professionals, emergency services and rescue teams helping to inform the details.
That knowledge, development and testing may not always be visible in a photography - but it is present throughout a genuine Keela garment.
A copied design may reproduce the general appearance. It cannot reproduce the experience, technology, testing and support behind the original.
