Another Hyrox Solo down! This one had something extra special going for it. 3 days after signing up for it I end up tearing my meniscus in my knee and telling myself I wasn't going to be able to compete. 6 weeks of rest and rehab led me to deciding (3 weeks before the race) that screw it! I will give it a go and enjoy it! 🤣🙈 I'm so happy I did as I managed to really go there and just enjoy the vibes of the event rather than worrying about any PBs. Sometimes life throws dirt at you and it would have been easy to just say no and give it up! But that's not what fitness is about. There's always a way to push yourself to reach your goals even if you've got to start again from somewhere and enjoy the moment of it! S**t happens sometimes and you can tell yourself to give it up or find a way around it. Sometimes you've got to remember you'll never hit that PB or fastest time or heaviest lift at points! But as long as you keep going, keep enjoying the ride and keep yourself looking forward, then you'll get there in the end!
Never give up!
Also want to say a massive thanks to my family who really helped push me through this. It's such an amazing community and family and I'd never have got through it without them! 🥳🙏

Amazing work today from everyone who took part in my Hyrox simulation at Puregym Gloucester Retail Park. Truly proud of every single person who came and smashed it out the park. We had some training for Birmingham at the end of this month. Some who just love a challenge and some who didn't even know what they were getting themselves in for but gave up on it! 😎💪
