Last Saturday we held our Internal Club Competitions, a full day of some very close matches. It was a tad damp in the morning but the afternoon was very sunny. Well done to all the players, here are the winners. Next week 26th at 1400 we are closing the green with an umbrella and spider competitions, fancy dress a must. The BBQ at Churchdown Club will also be open so why not pop up and make it a full afternoon of fun.

We weren’t quite sure how our first night would go, but you certainly didn’t disappoint! It was fantastic to see so many people getting involved and enjoying some friendly competition, drinks and great company. 🍻❤️

So, we’re doing it again! Next Tuesday at 8pm — come along, (we can provide the cribbage board) and join us.

Live match play on the last men’s Sunday league match for the A Team, 14th end of 21 on both rinks. Both are in contention to win and they go up as champions in to Div 3.

Our friendly match this afternoon at 1400 v Cheltenham BC is still going ahead. Remember the c***r festival is still on at Churchdown Club.

If you can’t make it to the National Bowls Finals that are currently happening in Leamington Spa, why not come to the Churchdown Village Bowls Club located at Churchdown Club. Over 29th and 30th Aug (whilst the C***r Festival is on) we have three home matches.

Last Weds evening we hosted a local Brownie Pack from Churchdown for their annual have a go at bowls. Our Coach and member helpers offered assistance to ensure they all had a great experience.
