Pop and see us at Churchdown Fun Day 12-4 this afternoon. Junior bowls out for the little ones to have a go.

Last Weds evening we hosted a local Brownie Pack from Churchdown for their annual have a go at bowls. Our Coach and member helpers offered assistance to ensure they all had a great experience.

Many thanks to all our followers new and old, we have now reached the milestone of having 200 of you. We seriously welcome your interest in our club and sincerely thank you for spreading the word about CVBC whenever you get the chance.

The fire last Monday was devastating for everyone and has meant we at CVBC will have to alter our operations over the coming weeks. If you are able to assist the Churchdown Club in anyway to get back on their feet then please get in touch with them.

Our community has been deeply saddened by the recent fire at Churchdown Club. Built by servicemen over 100 years ago, for many years, the club has been more than just a building – it has been a place where friendships have been formed, families have celebrated special occasions, local groups have met, and countless memories have been made.

Since the fire, we have been overwhelmed by the kindness, encouragement and offers of help from residents, neighbouring communities and local businesses. The messages of support have shown just how much the club means to so many people.

We are launching this appeal to help Churchdown Club. Every donation, no matter how large or small, will help us move forward and ensure that this valued community asset can once again serve the people who rely on it.

We would like to thank everyone who has already offered assistance, shared messages of support, donated resources, or volunteered their time. The generosity shown by local businesses, community organisations and individuals has been truly inspiring.

Together, we can help Churchdown Club recover from this devastating setback and create a positive future for generations to come.

It was so sad to see the fire at our home facilities today, the function room and skittle alley have been gutted. CVBC as a core group of the Churchdown Club family will do all they can get things back better than before.

WE ARE CHURCHDOWN CLUB - we have been here for over 100 years and we will be here for the next 100 thanks to the swift actions of our team and Fire & Rescue Services.

An important reminder about the work being done on our main point of access to the bowls green.

WATCH THIS SPACE!!!
From Monday 22 June for approximately 1 week the steps heading up to Spicy Aroma and bowls gate will be out of action while some important work takes place.

The private Club car park will also be out of use.

ALL access will be via the set of steps behind the bus stop, this will include access to Spicy Aroma customers who have an access door through the sports bar.
