When I say HB Swimming isn’t just about teaching children how to swim, I truly mean it.

For me, it’s about building relationships, creating trust, and making sure every child feels comfortable enough to have fun while learning a life-saving skill that will stay with them for years to come.

But HB Swimming has become so much more than that. It’s a little family. A place where it’s not just about what happens in the pool. I get to share in so many special moments of my swimmers’ lives, and what warms my heart most is that they want me to be part of those moments too.

Yesterday was one of those days that reminded me just how lucky I am to have my HB Swimming family.

Yesterday morning, Tyler arrived at his swimming lesson with a beautiful plant and some delicious chocolate because he knows how difficult Father’s Day can be for me. Such a thoughtful gesture from such a kind family. Thank you, Sadie, for always being so wonderful and for understanding me on a level that not many people do.

Then, in the evening, I had the pleasure of watching four of my swimmers perform in their dance show. When I say I was proud, I really mean it. I wasn’t even trying to hide it! The tears were flowing, and my hands were sore from clapping by the end of the night. I genuinely felt like a proud mum sitting in that audience.

A huge thank you to Grayson for inviting me – I wouldn’t have missed it for the world. And thank you to Izzy for the tickets and for always making me feel like such a valued part of Grayson’s life.

Felicity, just wow - you left me speechless. Darcey, your smile said everything. And little Phoebe, full of sass and confidence as always!

You all absolutely rocked that stage, and I’m already looking forward to next year. 💙

Moments like these remind me that HB Swimming is so much more than swimming lessons. It’s friendships, support, trust, encouragement, and being part of each other’s journeys.

And for that, I’m incredibly grateful. 💙
