This year 2026 is a rare, higher voltage cycle that rewards speed, passion, risk, and reinvention.
Fire Horse energy show us that fast(but deliberate) moves, bold decisions, and unstoppable momentum are things we could feel this year.
It rewards the people who lead, build, and break limits…(sound familiar) 👀 but it’ll also punish hesitation, burnout, and reckless impulses. Be focused in the saddle, be deliberate in your cross training, recovery and goals.
Move with purpose. Move with power.
The last Fire Horse year was 1966 😳
This isn’t normal energy.
Lastly, this isn’t the year to be quiet and passive about the injustices you see taking place. It’s time to REVAMP your life and journey 🏇

Finally got to meet the incredible Lydia Heywood of .ridings in person after what feels like forever of corresponding! 🙌🏾 What an absolute blessing to sit down, chat, and pick her brain about the paths she’s carved in the equestrian world and the shared missions we’re both working toward!
Representation. Diversity. Visibility. 🗓️ ⏳ The work she’s been doing to uplift riders and create opportunities is nothing short of amazing, and I’m beyond excited for the collaborations ahead. To be part of the puzzle that helps this community continue to grow, elevate, and achieve their equestrian dreams is an honor.

Writing ‘Battling Back Pain’ was a meaningful opportunity to share rider specific mobility exercises that strengthen and support riders both in and out of the saddle. This collaboration continues to fuel my passion for improving equestrian wellness and performance.

Improve your mindset - Improve your performance
I love my coaching calls because it allows us to get into the weeds of different things within their life and journey with their horses and goals. The other day we talked about the importance of ‘bulletproofing’ and protecting your thoughts and mindset because ultimately it affects how you ride but also how you communicate with your horse.
Stressed- slumped shoulders
Anxiety- uncertainty (lack of clarity) of aids
Pain- physical imbalances
Just to name a few but these all have an impact on how you ride and what’s taking place. It’s equally important to improve your physical and mental performance simultaneously.
Your horse will thank you…trust me 🙏🏾🐴

How do YOU prioritize balance, mentally and physically in your horses training regimen?
One of the most important tools for riders to understand is to separate yourself from the feedback/criticism. I see too many riders who take it personally.
Remember, take it as a better way to communicate properly with your horse and improve your partnership.
