Last night was our 2023 Awards Evening, hosted on the River Severn at The Lock Keepers with fabulous atmosphere and food on offer! 🌊

The 1st XI displayed a champion performance with an excellent bowling display in the sunshine - falling short by 15 runs to a strong Dymock Cricket Club side! πŸ‘πŸ½

Whilst the 2nd XI made fantastic progress from last season, with an incredible display at Church Field beating St Briavels CC by 7 wickets, as we miss out on promotion! πŸ₯²

Our 2nd XI sees Tim Gordon collect his second award this season, delivering a sensational 77 runs with excellent bowling producing two wickets for a big win! πŸ‘ŠπŸ½

The 1st XI finished their home campaign unbeaten with a dominant display over St Briavels CC winning by 167 runs. This means we bounce back to the CGF Premier next season ✨

Meanwhile, our 2nd XI inflicts revenge on our closet promotion rivals Aston Ingham Cricket Club with an emphatic performance winning by four wickets, as promotion is still possible into Division One 🀩

Our two XI's are released via our story, battling for their promotion pots at the end of this weekend's rainbow 🌈

Our 1st XI are at home to St Briavels, a win will guarantee our promotion back to the CGF Premier Division.

Highnam Court hasn’t achieved a promotion of any kind in over 20 years, so this may well be a once-in-a-generation game, while looking to end their home season unbeaten 🀩

With our 2nd XI, away to local promotion rivals Aston Ingham Cricket Club both battling to join USL into the promised lands of Division 1!

Goodrich claimed victory winning by 8 wickets, with a deserved catch up afterwards at The Mill Race 🍻

A good laugh, with some interesting fielding and impressive bowling, but with some runs under our belts it's all on for a big Saturday! 🏏
