Did you know? This year, we partnered with our very own Hartpury Digital Innovation Farm, installing 14 soil moisture sensors around the cross-country course in the build-up to this year's event?

These sensors have been providing real-time data on soil moisture and temperature, allowing us to make informed decisions about where irrigation is needed most.

Rather than watering the whole course, we’re then able to target specific areas, helping us produce consistent, well-managed ground while making the most efficient use of water.

Of course, technology is only part of the story. Our experienced grounds team knows this land better than anyone and has years of expertise preparing ground through the dry summers our region is now very well accustomed to (remember last year's green carpet?).

The sensor data has complemented that knowledge, giving us even greater confidence in the conditions we’ll be presenting on the day.

We’re excited about the course, confident in the ground, and can’t wait to welcome you.
