We are currently looking for players for our first team and veterans team for the 2025/26 season. Proud to be celebrating over 60 years as a football club. We take our football seriously - but not too seriously, we have a great team spirit throughout the club and we love a social!

King’s FC quote of the day goes to Morgan
After getting a tiny little cut on the Astro, he looked down and said:
“Why is this blood coming out black? Have I got blood poisoning?”
Bearing in mind we were playing on an Astro absolutely covered in black rubber bits…
To be fair, he’s not usually one to make a fuss over an injury… Hope he recovers well from this life changing injury

Despite the 6-0 defeat, Billy looked like the only player out there capable of making a tackle. Fair play young man.
He’ll soon be off to Vietnam for the trip he talks about like it’s an annual tradition, despite only going once before — so hopefully he comes back in shape and ready for next season.

Unfortunately, back in the TC again. Unlucky Smithy.

Top C:
It was a difficult afternoon for Smithy, who never really got going in the game.
Early on, he struggled to settle into the pace and lost his man in a key moment, which led to confusion between defence and keeper and ultimately resulted in a goal conceded. In the aftermath, frustration crept in as he followed through on the situation and picked up a yellow card for pushing an opposition player into the net.
He was off at half time but was reintroduced late on at right back to help see the game out. However, he was then beaten by his opponent and brought him down as he got past, resulting in a second yellow card and a sending off.
A frustrating day overall for Smithy.

🏆 MAN OF THE MATCH 🏆
Billy
On a tough day where clear chances were limited, Billy stood out as a real constant at the back.
He remained solid and composed throughout, commanding his defensive area with confidence and authority. When things got scrappy, he kept his head up and stayed focused on the job in hand, showing real maturity under pressure.
Billy also made a number of important tackles at key moments, breaking up play and preventing the opposition from building momentum. In what was a difficult performance overall for the team, he was the standout contributor and a reliable presence when it mattered most.
A well-earned Man of the Match for a strong defensive performance and excellent attitude throughout. 🏅

🏆 Man of the Match: Morgan 🏆
It’s been a bit of a tricky season for Morg, especially with his “anger management”… and those regular therapy sessions. But fair play — the last few games we’ve seen a different man.
“Head Loss Morg” seems to have rebranded… we’re now working with “Occasional Head Loss Morg”, and long may that continue.
Even after a night out and getting one of his lady friends to chauffeur him in today, he still turned up and put in a proper shift. Maybe it’s because Billy wasn’t there… who knows. If Billy’s back next week and Morg loses his head again, we might have found the common denominator 👀
Was even trying to rush everyone else to get their Man of the Match votes in — clearly chasing a bit of approval from his dad with a proud “well done son” moment 😂
All jokes aside — top performance today. Fully deserved and great to see.

TC goes to Billy this week. Not the best look—he chose to stay in Cardiff with a girl instead of turning out for the lads. That said, the boys got the job done without him… so maybe we’re not missing him after all.
