A 2–0 defeat against a good Dursley side.

We went behind midway through the first half and suffered a further setback when we lost our skipper to injury shortly after.

The lads worked hard throughout and played some good football at times, creating chances to get back into the game.

We pushed for an equaliser but Dursley made it 2–0 late on with a brilliant volley.

A decent performance despite the result, and plenty to take from it.

We now look ahead to Tuffley Rovers reserves at Glevum Park in the Reg Davis cup on Thursday evening.

Elsewhere, our Reserves continued their pre-season preparations with a 5–2 defeat to Whaddon Reserves, while our Fourths lost 3–1 to Brockworth 3rds.

An update on the Reserve team schedule, as they work towards the start of the season in 3 weeks time

First team wrapped up their pre-season schedule midweek. kicked off today but we have to wait until next Saturday for our first game back in Division 1

Just the one game today as our 3rd team continued their preparation for the new season with a competitive friendly against local rivals Coney Hill Football Club

A well struck freekick produced a rare goal from to seal the win

Our first team produced a strong display to claim a comfortable 3-0 victory over Old Richians in their final home fixture in pre season.

Ryan Cook led the way with two well taken goals, while Toby Gettings completed the scoring with an impressive strike from 20 yards out.

The first team now turn their attention to Wednesday evening’s trip to Tewkesbury Town for their final pre season fixture before the league campaign gets underway.

Elsewhere, our Reserves were involved in a thrilling contest but were narrowly beaten 5-4 away at Montpellier. Our Fourth Team also suffered a narrow defeat, losing 2-1 to Slimbridge Cygnets.
