What a fantastic evening last Saturday celebrating the players, managers, volunteers and supporters who have made this season one to remember. Your commitment, hard work and dedication throughout the season have been outstanding.

It was amazing to see everyone glammed up and looking dapper at our first ever black tie event. Congratulations to all of our award winners.

Several exciting announcements to share following last night’s Stroud League AGM, where the 2026/27 league constitution was finalised.

📈 RESERVES PROMOTED TO STROUD 2

After finishing just one place outside the play-off positions, league restructuring has seen our Reserves promoted to the highest division in the team’s history.

📈 THIRDS PROMOTED TO STROUD 4 (NORTH)

A welcome reprieve after heartbreak in the play-off final, as our Thirds secure a second successive promotion and move into the highest league they have ever competed in.

🆕 NEW FOURTH TEAM ACCEPTED

A huge thank you to the Stroud League for supporting our continued growth, with our new Fourth Team officially accepted into Stroud 5 (North) for their inaugural season.

🔼 THREE TEAMS IN THE STROUD LEAGUE

This also marks another club milestone, with three Barnwood United sides set to compete across the Stroud League for the first time in our history.

The growth and progression of Barnwood United continues to exceed anything we could have imagined. Alongside these achievements, our Barnwood Utd Female Pathway and Barnwood Utd AFC Pan Disability pathways continue to thrive, creating opportunities for more players than ever and celebrating successes of their own.

A special thank you to Tewkesbury Borough Council, whose faith in our vision and decision to entrust us with the operation of Coopers Edge Sports Hub has helped unlock the next stage of the club’s development.
