Gloucester Old Boys RFC is thrilled to announce that Gloucester Rugby favourite Jamal Ford-Robinson will be joining our coaching team for the 2025/2026 season.

We are excited to welcome Jamal to the team and look forward to the positive impact he will have on our squad.

Hi all. Exciting news! The 1st XV have made it through to the second round of the Papa Johns Cup. This Saturday will see a full club day of rugby and fun for all the family.

Our under 15’s will be taking on a touring team in the morning as a curtain raiser for the 1st XV against Stroud at 3pm.

There will be a bouncy castle, bbq and even some live music later on in the day.

I’d encourage everyone to come down and show their support, it should be a fantastic day!!

We’ll then finish of our season on Sunday with our last session. Look forward to seeing you there!!

Another week another tournament for our under 11’s. Some fantastic individual performances from our players of the match - Felix, Ava and William. The team really gelled today though and worked together to achieve their wins!! Well done all!

Under 9’s putting in a big performance at the County Festival at Brockworth today. The bad weather coming in for the afternoon made conditions tough but everyone gave it their all!!! 👏👏👏👏👏

A huge congratulations to our under 11’s on their win in the John Brain Cup today!!! 🏉🏉🏉🎉🎉🎉 In the under 11’s tournament the Cup is awarded for fair play and demonstration of the TREDS values. Brilliant that the guys were chosen but they also went unbeaten over the whole day!!! Brilliant that the cup is coming back to Gloucester Old Boys as John Brain was a former old boys player and now his grandchildren are playing at the club.
Well done to all the players and a massive thank you to Anthony and Matt helping out with the coaching today and keeping the team energised and motivated! A brilliant tournament organised by thank you!

A last minute change for the under 11’s with a tough home match against Brockworth. An even game from start to finish which(I think 🤣) resulted in a draw. Players of the match today were Felix and Jan for tireless efforts in the forwards. Hard running and solid rucking throughout for both these guys! Well done all!!
