The rest of the ladies sides play in The Women’s West Hockey League and the men’s sides play in the GoCrea8 Wales & West Hockey Leagues, from the Championship down to the local Marches 2 league, so there really is something for everyone. Our Juniors section is particularly strong with a boys Badgers team providing a stepping stone into the senior teams. The Badgers Circle, set up by GCHC over a decade ago, is often commended for the platform it provides and the individual skills on show from some of the young players! Club volunteers have also developed in partnership with Gloucestershire County Council the ' Quicksticks' hockey program in the city junior schools to a point that a primary schools league will start up in the Spring of 2018. And if that wasn't enough, the club hosts a number of social events throughout the year – the Hockey doesn’t stop in April, our Mixed Summer League competition provides further on-pitch fun and frolics, albeit at a slower pace depending on the Great British Summer!
