An important update for our RollerXpress community 🛼❤️
When we first set out on this journey, our goal was simple: to create a safe, welcoming, and joyful community space where people of all ages and backgrounds could lace up, skate, smile, and feel at home.
Over the past few months, we have turned over every possible stone to find a viable new home. We’ve explored vacant units, spoken with local property agents, and reached out across the area to secure a suitable venue. Sadly, despite our very best efforts, we’ve run into a wall of limited available spaces and commercial landlords simply unwilling to support a grassroots community interest ethos.
Because of this, we have had to make the heartbreaking decision that we will not be reopening.
While this isn't the ending any of us hoped for, we refuse to let it overshadow what we shared together. Every skate session, every kid (and adult) finding their balance for the first time, the music, the laughs, the random sweet in your shoe, best skater award, and the vibrant community spirit made every single ounce of hard work worth it.
To every single person who walked through our doors, shared a kind word, brought their family, cheered us on, or supported our vision: thank you. Your encouragement and energy meant the absolute world to our team.
Keep skating, keep supporting local grassroots projects, and thank you for being a part of our story.
