Are you missing us? 🏉

Our Annual SPT x Cheltenham Tigers 8-week speed camp was better, bigger, and faster! 🚀

In addition to enhancing speed, agility, and gamespeed, we incorporated rugby development with our very coach Mua. 💪

If you missed out this time, don’t worry - we’ll be back in 2027, and planning has already begun! 🗓️ Watch this space!

Thank you for such a wonderful time from all of us at SPT; we loved seeing smiles, laughter and just pure, outrageous fun! 🙌

Huge moment for James Arminio on an incredible week! 🇬🇧 After a hectic Friday, he flew to Mannheim, Germany, to join the GB U20 team. On Sunday, he debuted in the 4x100m mixed relay, securing a win.

He powered through to win the 200m with a time of 21.05s, his second fastest ever, and brought home a gold medal for Team GB! 🥇

We’re so proud of how you balance everything while competing at such a high level. Next up, the South West Schools! We see and celebrate you, James! 👏 proud to be SPT!

Upper YDL Round 1 ✅

Big day out for the squad yesterday as we continue to build into the season — season bests flying and a few cheeky PBs along the way 💥

👏 Amber Tandy opened up with a strong long jump, a PB in the triple jump (shoutout to Jo for allowing Amber to join into some sessions), and rounded things off with a much‑improved 200m to edge closer to her overall PB.

🔥 Libby Andrews kept her early‑season momentum rolling with a big PB in the 400m (over a second faster!), followed by a solid 200m and even stepping in for the javelin.

🎉 Olivia Avery started her season in style with a strong and commanding win in the 1500m still a few areas to work on but I’m sure Kerry Newell will be on top of but the big surprise was Olivia stepping into the 400m to help the team and running an amazing new personal best of 62.94s!

⚡ James Arminio kicked off his season in style with 10.79s and 21.68s into a headwind, comfortably winning both races and delivering the highest‑scoring performance of the day for YDL.

Elsewhere, 🚀 Alex Wood got off to a brilliant start to run a season best of 50.7s in the 400m to sit just shy of his personal best and were only in April!

Loads of positives to take forward — season is well and truly underway 💪
