Our Longford Emeralds U8s put in a fantastic performance this morning against a very competitive Frampton Youth U8s side!

The girls showed brilliant effort, spirit and enthusiasm throughout, with plenty of exciting football and goalmouth action at both ends. Most importantly, they worked brilliantly together as a team and kept going from start to finish.

⚽ A huge well done to Robyn, who got to take home the match ball after a fantastic goalscoring performance! A brilliant achievement, made possible by some excellent teamwork and support play from her teammates. 👏

🏆 OPOTM – Harriet

A special congratulations to Harriet, who was selected as Opposition Player of the Match for the second week running! Another fantastic performance and thoroughly deserved. Keep up the brilliant work! 🌟

Our Longford Emeralds U9s hosted Tuffley Blues U9s today for our first home match, and what a brilliant game of football it was! ⚽

The girls put in a fantastic all-round team performance, showing some brilliant dribbling, great passing and really solid defending throughout. It was great to see everything we’ve been working on in training coming together on the pitch.

🏆 OPOTM – Arianna

A huge congratulations to Arianna, who was selected as Opposition Player of the Match! You were brilliant in goal, making some fantastic saves, and when you came out onto the pitch you brought so much energy to the team. Well done! 👏

⭐ POTM – Fearn

A massive well done to Fearn, our Player of the Match! You were incredible in defence today – an absolute brick wall! When pushing forward, you also helped create so many great opportunities for the team. Fantastic performance!

💚 A Brilliant Morning for our Longford Emeralds U8 Girls!

Our Emeralds travelled away to take on Barnwood Girls U8s today, and despite a very wet morning, the girls had a fantastic time! ⚽

They played some brilliant football against a very good Barnwood side, showing great teamwork, determination and effort throughout the game. It was great to see every player enjoying themselves and leaving the pitch with huge smiles on their faces.

A massive congratulations to Harriet, who was selected as Opposition Player of the Match! You were fantastic today, with some brilliant dribbling, strong tackling and excellent football throughout. A thoroughly deserved award – well done, Harriet! 👏

A Fantastic Team Performance from our Longford Emeralds U9 Girls! ⚽🌟

Our Emeralds travelled away to Frampton Youth today and put in a brilliant all-round team performance! 🙌⚽

There was some fantastic football on display, including some really well-worked team goals, multiple goalscorers and some excellent defending. Most importantly, the girls worked together as a team from start to finish and continued to show how much they are developing every week! 💚👏⚽

A huge congratulations to Maddie, who was selected as Opposition Player of the Match! You were absolutely on fire today! 🔥👏 Solid in both midfield and defence, working incredibly hard for the team and topping it off with two goals. Fantastic performance! ⚽⚽🌟

Congratulations to Margot, our Player of the Match! You were fantastic across midfield and defence today, reading the game brilliantly and putting in a really strong performance for the team. Well deserved! 👏

We’re really excited to be launching a brand-new girls’ team at Longford Youth FC, and we’re looking for girls who would love to come along and give football a go! 🎉🙌

Whether your daughter already loves football or has never played before, she’ll be very welcome. It’s all about having fun, making new friends, building confidence and developing football skills together. ⚽

Our Emeralds travelled away to Cinderford this morning for another fantastic Sunday of football in the sunshine! ☀️⚽🙌

The girls were brilliant from start to finish, showing some fantastic teamwork, confident dribbling and scoring some great goals along the way! 🌟⚽ It’s brilliant to see their confidence growing and the football developing week after week, all while playing with big smiles on their faces. 😊💚

☀️⚽ A Fantastic Morning for our Longford Emeralds U9 Girls! 💚💎

Our Emeralds travelled away to Leckhampton Bobcats this morning on a very sunny and hot day, and what a brilliant morning of football it was! ☀️⚽👏

The girls showed some fantastic teamwork and played some lovely football throughout. One of the best things to see was everyone getting the opportunity to experience different positions – we had 4 different captains and 4 different goalkeepers, with the girls embracing every challenge and giving their all wherever they played. 💚🙌

🏆 OPOTM – Arianna
A huge well done to Arianna for being selected as Opposition Player of the Match! You were incredibly strong on the ball today, with some fantastic dribbling and confident play. Brilliant performance! 🔥⚽👏

⭐ POTM – Charlotte
Congratulations to Charlotte, our Player of the Match! Your attitude was incredible today and you set a fantastic example for the whole team. You made some brilliant saves in goal and were absolutely solid when playing in defence. A thoroughly deserved award! 🧤💪🌟
