Congratulations to Coach Mike on his achievement in the 5k donors race at the British Transplant Games yesterday. 🏃‍➡️

With an amazing 5k finish time of 17:15 he was first in his age group and earned himself a bronze medal overall in the donors who raced yesterday. 🥉

Coach Mike kindly donated one of his kidneys back in 2019 to his sister Debbie who is also a member of the gym.

Debbie smashes her training every week and her kidney consultant is amazed by the results she has seen from doing CrossFit three times a week. She no longer needs her thyroid removed, her bone density has significantly increased through the strength training and her weight is well below that expected of a transplant patient too. 🤩

Both Debbie and Coach Mike are going to compete in the British Transplant Games next year. 💪
