Comets soaring through our Sunday session!
Today we played Dishes and Domes, Lost Dogs, Treasure Island, and even managed to squeeze in a quick game of Football Skittles.
I’m so impressed with how amazing everyone has been. The teamwork, effort, and silky football skills on show today were fantastic to see. Every player gave their all, supported one another, and had plenty of fun along the way.
Proud of this team and the progress they’re making every week. Keep it up, Comets!

Thank you to our Under 16s teams who came to training today.
We had a really good morning with fun drills, games and a short match against each other.
It was nice to see lots of happy bouncy players today.
Think those 2nd place medals both teams won at Birmingham has made their smiles just a little bit bigger!
We have our next training session planned for Sunday 31st May and hope that all of our players and parents/carers will be able to join us.
If you've been sat watching our posts and have a child who would like to give football a go please do contact us and come along to a FREE trial session.

At Barnwood United, we know football is about more than the game, it’s about community, support, and standing together. During Mental Health Awareness Week, we want everyone to know it’s okay to not be okay, and that speaking up is a strength. Let’s continue to check in, listen, and support one another because no one should face things alone.

Match Report – West Midland Inclusion League ⚽
U12s gave it everything today, narrowly losing 1–0 and 3–2. A brilliant second game with great goals from Alex and Ruby, and strong defending from Dylan, Henry, and Michael. It didn’t quite fall our way, but the effort, teamwork, and attitude were spot on 👏
All U12 players received a medal to round off a hard-fought season — fully deserved!
Huge congratulations to our U16s:
🔵 U16 Blues (League 1) – Unbeaten and runners-up
🔴 U16 Clarets (Championship) – Unbeaten and runners-up
Both teams were outstanding all day, with every player picking up a well-earned runner-up medal 🙌
Proud of everyone involved 💙
We would also like to thank Royal Mail for the New kit
