🍽️⛵ GALLEY CONTRACTOR REQUIRED – FRANCHISE BASIS

Hardway Sailing Club is looking for an enthusiastic Galley Contractor to run our galley on a franchise basis, primarily during evenings and weekends.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys good food, hospitality and being part of a friendly sailing club community.

NOTICE OF OBLIGATION TO COLLECT GOODS / INTENTION TO SELL OR
DISPOSE
Pursuant to the Torts (Interference with Goods) Act 1977, notice is given that the Club has
possession of AROS, a grey Macwester 27', left uncollected on a Hardway Sailing Club mooring in
Portsmouth Harbour. Owner unknown.
The owner, registered keeper or anyone claiming an interest must contact Sue Roberts, Mooring
Officer ([email protected]) to arrange collection/removal and settle
outstanding charges.
If contact is not made and collection arranged by 10 December 2026, the Club will, in accordance
with its legal rights and the Act, dispose of the vessel and/or contents, including by sale, applying
proceeds towards sums due and disposal costs.

This Saturday, 5th September at 1000, it’s time for the crew to step up and take over! 💪

For this race, the usual helm has to swap places and become crew — meaning YOU get the chance to take the helm, call the shots and put your sailing skills to the test.

No sitting back and following orders this time… the crew is in charge! 😎

💗 £555 RAISED FOR BREAST CANCER NOW! 💗

A huge THANK YOU to everybody who helped make last night such a fantastic success. We raised an amazing £555 from the Quiz, raffle, donations from previous Quiz winners, the Tai Chi group, and some incredibly generous private donations.

What an amazing amount! 🙌

Thank you all so much for your generosity and support for a cause that is close to so many of our hearts. 💕 Your kindness really does make a difference.

✂️ And now for Monday…! ✂️

A quick reminder that this Monday at 1pm, Sarah-Jane will be having her flowing mane tamed — yes, she’s having the lot chopped off! 😱😂

She’ll be doing it in the Club, all in aid of Macmillan Nurses.

Come along, cheer her on, show your support and help raise even more for this wonderful cause. 💚
