Official Ribbon Cutting for Newly Marked Pickleball Courts at Privettt Park, Gosport.

Firstly, a heartfelt thank you to all our Park Picklers who arose early yesterday morning to join the celebrations on the opening of the two new lined pickleball courts, your enthusiasm is truly appreciated.

It was the most perfect morning, blue skies and sunshine set the mood. The ribbon was cut by Caroline Dinenage, Gosport MP and Mayor Kirsten Bradley. Also in attendance were Council Leader Zoe Huggins, Deputy Leader Lesley Meenaghan, Cllrs. Davis Marshall, Thomas Finn and Stevyn Ricketts, Chair of Communities and Environment Board. Thomas also joined the group in a game. We sincerely thank them all for their attendance and support.

A warm welcome is always given to newcomers. Ian will be recommencing the introduction to Pickleball Clinics shortly, if you wish to join the waiting list or require information, please contact [email protected]

Well, we now have the courts, we have the Picklers, so let’s enjoy playing pickleball, keeping fit and having fun.

Following the visit of Cllr. Lesley Meenaghan, Deputy Leader of Gosport Borough Council.
