Established in 1896 and situated above the picturesque town of Gourock, the golf course’s moorland layout boasts absolutely spectacular views over the River Clyde and the Argyllshire hills from every hole. Members and visitors can enjoy 9, 18, 27 or 36 holes and then relax in the pleasant surrounding of the clubhouse with it's magnificent views overlooking the Clyde. We welcome applications for all of our categories from prospective new members

Pink Day!
Our Ladies section held another very succesful Pink Day on Sunday in aid of Breast Cancer Awareness....despite the weather! A whopping £2400 was raised thanks to our ladies efforts.
Great day for Dee Reidy & John McCall who managed to plant their flag on the 18th fairway, with David and Margaret Harkins on their heels on the 16th.

Well done to all involved and thanks to all who contributed to the funds as well as raffle prizes.

Congratulations go to our Golf 9's Team (Clark McKellar, Flynn Parker, Harry Small & Ciaran Odonnell) for winning at Old Musselburgh on Sunday. Old Musselburgh Links is reported to be the oldest Golf Course in the world and has been played on by many famous people, including Mary Queen of Scots and James VI.

The Golf 9's event was organised by Scottish Golf which included 56 players from 14 Golf Clubs across the East, West and the Central belt of Scotland.

Scoring by all teams was very impressive, with Gourock coming out on top beating Duns Golf Club by just 1 point. Top three places were as follows:-
Gourock Golf Club - 138 points
Duns Golf Club - 137 points
Cluny Golf Club - 134 points
Well done !
Our appreciation goes out to On-Site Scanning and Mrs Mary Sellar for supporting our Junior Section and we look forward to reporting on many more successes in the future.
