One of the girls from Grangetown Netball Club, Zoe, has been coming to netball with her Grandad Ian since she was just 7½ years old. Now, at 18, she has just had her last training session before heading off to Loughborough University.

For the past 6½ years, netball has been the special time they have spent together. No matter the weather, Grandad Ian was always there, on time, ready to bring his little Zoe to training — and now she has grown into a wonderful young woman.

This is what Grangetown Netball Club is all about. 🧡🖤

It’s about family connections, creating positive stories and making memories — not just on the court, but within our wider community.

We wish Zoe all the very best as she starts this exciting new chapter at Loughborough University. 🎓🏐🧡🖤

Birthday Weekend Celebrations for our wonderful Geraldine! 💖🎉

The celebrations are in full flow in Benidorm, and we wanted to take a moment to share a special message from so many of our girls.

Geraldine, we want you to know just how much you are appreciated. Your dedication, kindness, encouragement and endless commitment to our club mean more than words can say.

We are so grateful to have such a lovely person at the heart of Grangetown Netball Club, bringing people together, supporting our girls and creating a club that feels like a family.

We hope you’re having the most amazing birthday weekend — you deserve every bit of the celebration!

Bronze medal. History made. Coach Faye, take a bow. 👏

Our amazing Coach took a group of 14-year-olds to the Leeds Rhinos Netball Competition over the weekend… and came home with BRONZE!

Not only that, but they’re the first team and coach to bring a medal back from the competition. No pressure for the next lot then.

In this video, Faye talks us through how the competition worked, how many of our Grangetown girls were involved, and how she ended up being selected to coach the event in the first place.

A brilliant achievement for Faye, the girls and everyone involved. Proof that Grangetown talent travels — and clearly knows where the podium is.
