It has taken over 500 million years to give us this incredible landscape and we at Lakeland Walks & Talks don’t want you to just pass through and say you have been without truly discovering exactly what is on offer. From the breathtaking fells, to the shimmering lakes, Lakeland Walks & Talks will offer you an introduction to the Lake District. We will endeavour to give you the best of our knowledge on all aspects of Lakeland life, it’s people and it’s pastimes. We hope to inspire you to return time and time again. The majority of Walks & Talks on offer start and finish in Grasmere (‘The loveliest spot that man ‘hath found) and are low-level offering an amazing introduction to fell walking. For those with more experience, further challenges can be catered for, but for us the summit of Helvellyn and the sight of Catstye Cam and Striding Edge with Red Tarn glistening below is a sight not to be missed and within most people’s abilities.
