Meopham and District Fencing Club was founded in 1994 and became an affiliated club in 1999. Specialising in Foil, Epee and Sabre disciplines. We have a regular attendance of both adult and junior members, including some junior modern Pentathletes who receive coaching in Epee. Our senior coach Janet Huggins is qualified to coach in all three weapons, plus the club has a Level 1 coach who is qualif

Your Support is Needed...
As valued customers and visitors, we’re writing at the earliest opportunity to regrettably inform you there is a strong possibility Meopham Leisure Centre may close on the 29th July 2022.
We Are Still Open
Now, more than ever, we need your support throughout this difficult time, and kindly request visitors continue to use the facility, until otherwise advised.
Trying to Find a Solution!
Please be reassured the Meopham Sport and Leisure Association are working hard to find a solution that will hopefully ensure your important, and valued community facility stays open after the end of July.
Why is This Happening?
Currently the lease with Swale Academies Trust, who operate Meopham Secondary School, will cease at the end of July. Sadly, the Meopham Sport and Leisure Association, has not yet been able to secure an extension on the lease with Swale Academies Trust, and negotiations are proving challenging.

We’re sure you must have a lot of questions about the future of the Centre – all the current details, including answers to a lot of questions you may have can be found via the link below.

Unfortunately the club will be closed for 3 weeks due to overnight road closure from 8pm-6am see you back on the 13th April.
