Finishing my School Games Organiser role on a high with a mention from Active Kent and Medway. Two more Highland Games Transition events to go next week at The Leigh Academy, hoping to have the same positive impact with their new Year 7 pupils.

So excited for our company Born2Ride and the amazing response to our new Emotional Intelligence programme for schools Dare2BeU

The Emotional Health and Well-being of children and young people is one of my passions. Our new programme Dare2BeU empowers pupils to explore and discover their identity through physical activity to develop The Power of Five (Self-Awareness, Self-Regulation, Motivation, Empathy and Social Skills).

I look forward to sharing details of our Dare2BeU CPD for schools and Empower Me a unique leadership programme for every pupil in KS2.

Looking forward to our next School Games Event being held at Gravesend RFC Astro, in partnership with Gravesend Ladies and Gravesham and Wellcome Men's Hockey Club on Wednesday 1st May 2024.

Thank you to everyone involved in the FA's Girls Biggest Football Day and International Women's Day events hosted at Legends Sports and Dartford FC on 7th & 8th March 2024.
With over 140 participants across two days the atmosphere at both events was amazing. Girls from Secondary Schools across Gravesham and Dartford enjoyed a full day of football, learning new skills and drills, exploring what it means to be a young women involved in football and culminating in a friendly round robin of matches.

Thank you to all the Schools who attended Active 60 Part 2 Playtime Party Leaders Training Course - Cherry Orchards Academy, Hextable Primary School, Dartford Bridge Primary School, Our Lady of Hartley Catholic Primary School, Painters Ash Primary School, Westgate Primary School, Wentworth Primary School and Joydens Wood Junior School.

Playtime Party Leaders is an initiative I had the pleasure to create before COVID-19 and am delighted to bring back into schools through my role as a School Games Organiser for Dartford and Gravesham Schools.

Playtime Party is an action packed activity involving dance classics and dance movement to popular songs, along with musical themed games that gets everyone moving to the beat in the playground.

Looking forward to our International Women's Day event this Friday being held at St John's Catholic Comprehensive School involving North Kent Caribbean Network Kent Police Kent Cricket. This unique event will celebrate this year's International Women's Day theme of

Students will participate in a carousel of informative talks and physical activity workshops to promote the importance of understanding and valuing women's inclusion, and inspiring a sense of belonging, relevance and empowerment.

Students will also have the opportunity to add their personal stories of women who inspire them via the International Women's Day and Women's History Month online gallery.
