⚒️ ON THIS DAY IN 1951 ⚒️

75 years ago today, Ken Brown signed professional terms with West Ham United. What a signing that turned out to be!

🏆 FA Cup winner
🏆 European Cup Winners’ Cup winner
⚒️ Hammer of the Year in 1959

A proper servant to our club and part of a generation that gave us some of our greatest days. ❤️⚒️

700 APPEARANCES. ONE BILLY BONDS. ⚒️

On this day in 1983, Billy Bonds pulled on the West Ham shirt for the 700th time, against Liverpool at Upton Park.

The result didn’t go our way, but what a milestone for a man who gave everything for this club.

Tough as they come. Led by example. The sort of player you’d want alongside you when things got difficult.

What’s your favourite memory of Bonzo? Let’s hear from those who watched him play 👇⚒️

⚒️ ON THIS DAY… WARDY AT THE DOUBLE!

14 October 1989. Mark Ward scored both goals, including one from the penalty spot, as West Ham beat Sheffield United 2–0 at Bramall Lane.

37 years ago today! Who remembers that one? 👀

Wardy sometimes gets overlooked when we talk about the players from that era. How highly did you rate him in claret and blue?

Were you there that afternoon? Let’s hear your memories. 👇⚒️

67 YEARS AGO TODAY… A WEST HAM LEGEND MADE HIS DEBUT ⚒️❤️

On 13 October 1959, a 16 year old Ronnie Boyce pulled on the West Ham shirt for his first team debut against Millwall in the Southern Floodlight Cup.

Less than five years later, he was heading home the last minute winner at Wembley as we beat Preston 3–2 to lift our first ever FA Cup. 🙌

From a teenage debutant to the man who gave generations of Hammers a moment they would never forget.

Ronnie “Ticker” Boyce. A proper West Ham great. ❤️⚒️

Did you see Ronnie play? What’s your favourite memory of him? And were any of you at Wembley in 1964? 👇

⚒️ TWO HAMMERS, ONE BIRTHDAY! 🎂

Happy 43rd birthday to Carlton Cole and happy 67th to Paul Goddard! 👏

⚽ Carlton Cole: 293 appearances, 68 goals.
⚽ Paul Goddard: 213 appearances, 71 goals.

Two strikers from different eras who gave us plenty to cheer about in claret and blue.

Who remembers watching both at Upton Park? What’s the first goal or memory that comes to mind? 👇

Happy birthday, lads! ⚒️

⚒️ EIGHT GOALS. THREE PENALTIES. ONE UNFORGETTABLE LONDON DERBY!

On this day, 11 October 1986, West Ham beat Chelsea 5–3 at Upton Park! 🔥

Tony Cottee bagged two, Frank McAvennie got one and Ray ‘Tonka’ Stewart buried two penalties as we came back from 3–2 down to send Chelsea home empty handed.

40 years ago today… where has that gone?! ❤️
