MEET OUR HORSES
Once a month we will be introducing our Riding school Horses & Ponies.

For September we have our absolutely stunning Bertha 😊
Bertha is a strawberry roan Belgium Draft, Mare, standing at 16.1hh. Bertha is super cuddly, loves to be pampered and enjoys going out on hacks. She has taught riders from beginners on lead rein to our more experienced riders and has even been out to dressage shows with her loaners. She Looks absolutely fabulous if we do say so ourselves selves🥰.

We had the wonderful Buckingham Equine Vets vets out for a weighing/ body score of riding school ponies insuring they are in tip top shape and also for our wonderful Pony Club Equine First add badge. BEV have been very informative covering the pony club topic and insuring or members gained some vital knowledge in equine care.

What a summer!! Three Pony Camps 2026 completed 🙌 from Gymkhana’s, Horse Ball, Show Jumping professional demos, Horse Anatomy and so much more! It has been a blast….Huge thank you to our wonderful instructors and all the guest that came along. Thank you too our helpers and parents that always go that extra mile for our fabulous riders. Last but not least a MASSIVE WELL DONE too our Riders of 2026 your hard work and dedication through camp really showed in your finale camp shows.Until next year SUMMER PONY CAMP 2026 over and out!

We have had the wonderful SW Saddle Fitting visiting us these last few days, insuring our horses saddles fit our horses correctly by Checking gullets, flocking and sizing. It is so important that the saddle fits!

Did you know that having an ill fitting saddle can cause things like behaviour issues & soreness through the back!? And no one saddle does not fit all!

Saddles range in length (measured in inches ) and width (gullets), not all saddles are adjustable. Horses change shape through the months due to foraging changes, they also change with the amount of exercise the may be doing. So it is important that you monitor these changes and ensure your saddle is fitting correctly!

Our staff undertook a little training too to insure that as staff we can monitor our riding school ponies and notice when changes may need to be made .

Massive Thank you to Sam and her expertise in saddle fitting 😃 our horses will be feeling comfy in their saddles.

Did you know Bryerley Springs EC & PC we do a lovely session called Pony Tots on a Saturday morning?
It a great session for 2-4yr olds to come down and have a pony ride/lesson with other young equestrians. It’s a great way to get little ones started in the equestrian world or just have some pony fun! With all that horsing around, Why not grab a coffee or some breakfast Hay Barn Cafe while you are visiting us 🙂

Have you ever thought “I’d like to work with and learn more about horses”.
Well then look no further, this could be a course for you!
Learn what it takes to care for the horses and then enhance your skills further by volunteering with us.
This course is taking place on the 06th August , age 13+ , limited spaces available. Link in Bio under events.

Ever wondered what it was like to own a pony? Well you no longer have to wonder! Come join us on one of our Own a Pony Days this summer! Ages 4-12 years welcome. Running 9am - 1pm. Booking essential link in Bio (under events)

XC Camp at Milton Keynes Equestrian Centre

Our annual XC Camp will take place again this year at Milton Keynes Equestrian Centre from the 24th May – 26th May and this year we have some extra spaces for external riders to join us on their own horses!

The cost of camp is £320pp and this includes:
- Camping for 3 nights (parents would need to stay with their child) (optional)
- 3 days use of the riding facilities
- Use of clubhouse
- Accomodation for horses either stables or fields depending on weather conditions
- 8hrs tuition with an experienced instructor (2hrs AM & PM on the Sunday and Monday)
- 2x 45 minute stable management sessions
- Opportunity for pony club members to earn their introduction to eventing badge
- First aider on site during riding hours
- Hay provided (if needed)
- Evening entertainment
- Competition on the last day
