A huge well done to the U11 Blues for a fantastic performance against Nottingham FC Greens! Beyond the action on the pitch, what stood out most was how effectively the team put their midweek training sessions into practice.

From the first whistle, the players showed fantastic awareness, building play patiently from the back and executing sharp, purposeful passing combinations into the final third. The Blues pressing off the ball was relentless, and the tactical discipline across every position made it clear just how much the squad is absorbing during practice.

Defensively, the team stayed compact and organised, turning defensive recoveries into quick, dangerous attacks. Going forward, the players were unselfish and creative, using the spatial awareness and decision-making skills theyve been drilling to open up great opportunities.

Thank you to all the parents for your continued support on the sidelines. Seeing their effort in training translates so into weekend football is a credit to their hard work and positive attitudes. 💙

𝗨𝟭𝟰 𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗔𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗻𝗲𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗶𝗱𝗲 💙
Despite a hard-fought 5-3 defeat to a strong Sneinton side, the U14 Blues put on a sensational performance in a thrilling game that kept supporters on the edge of their seats from start to finish.

The match was an absolute rollercoaster of quality football and determination. The Blues got off to a flyer by taking an early lead, showing fantastic intensity right from the opening whistle. After Sneinton fought back to make it 2-1, the Blues demonstrated incredible grit and character to turn the game back in their favor, surging ahead to 3-2 with some outstanding team play.

Sneinton managed to pull level and eventually edge ahead in the closing stages, but the Blues never stopped pressing. A late, strong penalty shout for the Blues was waved away by the referee, which could easily have changed the dynamic once again.

The true testament to the team’s effort came after the final whistle: when 7 parents were asked to pick their Man of the Match, all 7 chose a completely different player! That rare vote shows just how balanced, dedicated, and brilliant every single player on the pitch was today.

Outstanding effort, relentless energy, and complete team unity! Heads high, Blues! 😁💙

The U11 Yellows faced a tough away fixture against Clifton today.

Clifton played some fantastic football throughout the match, though the Yellows showed the opposition a bit too much respect early on, frequently backing off and giving them far too much time and space on the ball.

Despite the difficult start, the Yellows continued to fight and found a strong spell of momentum toward the end of the first half.

However, the team showed great character by battling right to the final whistle and finding a late breakthrough.

That late surge shifted the energy entirely!
The squad looks ahead to the next fixture, eager to build on those positive patches of play and deliver an improved performance. 💛

In a highly competitive, end-to-end encounter from start to finish, the U8 Blues played away at WB Colts Feyenoord Black set the tone early on by taking the initiative in a thrilling contest.

Long-range strikes proved to be a defining feature of the match as both sides displayed relentless attacking intent.

The action was fast-paced across the pitch, packed with energetic pressing and spectacular work between the posts as both goalkeepers pulled off outstanding saves to keep the sides tightly matched.

Neither team gave an inch as the momentum swung continuously back and forth through a pulsating first half and right up until the final whistle, delivering a captivating spectacle of youth football 👏👏💙💛

The U12 Blues delivered a great performance to secure a convincing 6–2 victory over Quarrydale Town. From the opening whistle, the Blues set the tone with relentless pressing, denying the opposition any time on the ball and quickly building a comfortable 2–0 lead.

Quarrydale Town managed to pull a goal back with a long-range strike against the run of play, but the Blues responded instantly. Raising their intensity, they completely took over the game, creating chance after chance with quick passing and sharp attacking movement.

The Blues added four more goals to comfortably seal the win. Quarrydale Town’s goalkeeper put in a impressive display to pull off several great saves, with the final whistle being blown, it wrapped up a fantastic all-around performance.

The U7 Yellows delivered a fantastic team performance away against Caythorpe today, demonstrating outstanding team spirit and boundless enthusiasm from the first whistle to the last.

Every player worked tirelessly for their teammates, putting in a brilliant collective effort on the road. The energy on the pitch was matched by positive encouragement off it, keeping the primary focus exactly where it belongs: having fun, developing skills, and enjoying the game.

A special thank you goes out to all the parents and guardians for traveling to the away fixture, arriving on time, and providing continuous support throughout the match.

The enthusiasm creates a wonderful environment for the players to learn, grow, and fall in love with football.

💪 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲𝘀, 𝗕𝘂𝗺𝗽𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗶𝗴 𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗰: 𝗨𝟴 𝗬𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁! 💛
It was another tough test on home turf today against local rivals Barrowby Greens, on challenging conditions. Barrowby put in a strong performance throughout and proved to be tough opposition.

Despite some tireless hard work across the pitch from the whole squad, the boys are still searching for that elusive first victory of the season.

To make matters tougher, the team suffered a blow before kick-off when one of our players picked up an injury during the warm-up. He ended up needing a trip to Grantham UTC, and everyone at the club sends him their absolute best wishes for a speedy recovery!

The effort is there, and the hard work will pay off—hopefully better luck next week! 🤞💛💙

A fantastic effort from the U8 Yellows against Ancaster, who were playing their first-ever league match together as a team!

It was a tightly contested first half with very little to separate the two sides. The Yellows turned up the heat after the break, putting in a resolute defensive display while finding their rhythm and momentum up front to take control of the second half.

A brilliant team performance and great support from everyone on a very busy day at the Rec with an amazing performance. 👏💛💙

What a fantastic day of football at home as our U7 Blues took on Cranwell!

It was a brilliant morning full of energy, non-stop tackling, fantastic teamwork, and plenty of goals to keep everyone cheering. Most importantly, both teams played with massive smiles on their faces from start to finish.

A huge thank you and credit to all the parents from both sides for your incredible support on the sidelines!
Despite the overload in numbers for Gonerby they had a chance of battling against their own team mates in games and also got to play against Cranwell JFC 💙💛

What a performance from the u10 Yellows Yesterday away at Arnold Town ⚽💛
After a tricky start, the kids showed incredible heart and determination to pull together and completely turn the match around.

From the back, Mya set the tone by playing out to Maliki, who showed brilliant skill to drive up the pitch and link up with Oliver making some fantastic overlapping runs. Down the wings, Leo absolute dominated with relentless pace, while Alfie used his clever footwork to control the left side.

Up front, Tadi set the standard with tireless pressing, forcing their defense long time after time and winning possession right back for us.
In defense, Hugo, Moses, and Oliver were absolute rocks, closing down space instantly whenever Arnold Town tried to break forward. Behind them, Mya pulled off some outstanding work between the posts.

With only one substitute available today, every single player gave everything they had on that pitch. Their work ethic, energy, and pure passion for the game was unbelievable to watch—even the opposition coach agreed they were the team that truly deserved all the credit today.

Richard and Steve mentioned that they could not be prouder of this amazing group of kids. They represent everything great about grassroots football, and they are without a doubt a team to keep an eye on! ⚡
