When I moved to London at 17 years of age, they told me “after 1 year you will have a crisis and really miss your hometown”, never happened. Then they told me there is a crisis at 3, 5, 7 and some other numbers, also never happened. I love London, I love my hometown too but I feel I can carry everything I need within myself, including the weather ☀️✨

My first year back with !

After a long break due to injury and pandemic 😷 is sooo good to be able to teach and learn from all this beautiful beautiful 🤩

keeps me injury free and curious 🤨 and how to help my students to get flexible & strong , pole feeds my soul and my imagination 💭.

Each shape is a completely different world!

Depending on your strength, tendencies, flexibility or previous transferable skills a particular shape will be more accessible to you.

If your plan is to get balancing as soon as possible identify your shape stick to it and get practicing.

Bare in mind that is just a starting point, over time your practice will evolve to many more elements.

Thats my most practice stretch! I do at least once a day in one form or another. ⁠

1-On the floor⁠

2-from sitting ⁠

3-Using the wall to support the leg.⁠

I started practicing flexibility at 6 in ballet classes, I was not super flexible, I remember doing mostly hip flexibility. So now I have good flexibility around my hips all the other joints have a bit more of catching up to do!⁠

Which is your most flexible joint?

Handstands! I love training but often get distracted and dance in between my sets. During this short city break it was very clear that endurance is not as I wished making our pics more of a challenge! Thankfully 😅 .tzanis has been practicing for both of us . Note to the self less play more practice, endurance training in on for May .
