Sometimes I train for strength.
Sometimes for performance.
Sometimes for the gains.
But honestly - a lot of the time I train for my mental health.
It’s the hour where I clear my head.
Where I stop overthinking.
Where I’m not my to-do list, or my inbox, or whatever’s weighing on me that day.
The gym’s been my anchor through some of the hardest seasons of my life.
Not because it “fixed” anything.
But because it gave me a space to show up — even when I didn’t feel okay.
Which is one of the reasons I do what I do as a coach.
Because I know how much of a difference it makes when you train not just for how you look, but for how you feel.
And I coach my clients the same way.
Not every session needs to be perfect.
Sometimes it’s just about moving your body so your mind can breathe.
And for me, that’s progress that counts.

The last 12 months have been a bit of a ride — mentally, emotionally, all of it. And it’s still a ride. I’m still figuring things out as I go in life.
But it’s also bringing a lot of lessons, wake-up calls, and realisations I probably wouldn’t have got any other way.
I’ve been journaling for years, but about 6 months ago, I started trying to pull together all the chaotic thoughts, the habits, the mindset shifts, and the lessons into something real I could share with other guys.
So I wrote this book while still figuring my s**t out. It’s not about having it all together — it’s about being honest with yourself, backing yourself, and learning how to actually like who you are.

At 37, Antonio thought his best body was behind him…
