𝐅𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐛 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐢𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐛 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐔𝐊

We are dedicated in helping develop grass root level fighters from all types of combat sports backgrounds. All participants will have the chance to compete both in the 24ft Competition Cage, Full Size Boxing Ring or on the large matted area. Any fighters wishing to participate will be able to compete in any of the disciplines (MMA, Boxing, S

ubmission Grappling and K1) with at least 1-2 bouts. Match-ups will be pre-matched with people of similar age, weights and experience.

For all disciplines: This is a controlled contact interclub based on SKILL not power, it’s not a fight! If the fighter does not adhere to this then the referee will issue a warning, if more than one warning is issued the fight will be stopped and fighter(s) will be disqualified.

*All bouts are non decision except for the submission grappling rules

🧤 AMATEUR MMA (Adults & Juniors):

• Head Shots Standing Only: Adults
• No Head Shots: Juniors U14

Its compulsory to wear the following: MMA Sparring gloves (6oz-8oz), gum shield, groin guard, shin guards and advised to wear a headguard (excluding juniors). All Amateur MMA bouts will be closely observed and controlled on aggression, no dangerous techniques and power down to a reasonable level. Ground & Pound allowed to body only (punches only), No heel hooks, no twisters, no slams, no neck cranks, no knee reaping, no twisting leg submissions, no spinning back fists, no spinning kicks, no wild swinging, no elbows, no knees to the head and strictly no knees for juniors – the referee will protect the fighters at all times. Amateur MMA bouts: Adults 2 x 2-mins rounds | Juniors 2 x 1.5 mins rounds

🥋 SUBMISSION GRAPPLING (No-Gi):

Submission Grappling will take place on 2 areas on the mats. All competitors are required to wear a groin guard (not compulsory) and gum shield. No heel hooks, no twisters, no slams, no neck cranks, no twisting leg submissions. Submit your opponent to win / no submission will be classed as a draw. Submission Grappling Bouts: Adults 1 x 5-mins rounds | Juniors (u12) 1 x 3 mins rounds.

🥊 K1-KICKBOXING

K1 bouts will be closely observed and controlled on aggression, no dangerous techniques and power down to a reasonable level – the referee will protect all fighters at all times. Its compulsory to wear the following: 14oz Boxing gloves (Juniors u12 8oz-10oz), gum shield, groin guard, chest guards must be worn by Juniors under 12, shin guards and advised to wear headguards. One hand clinch with a knee strike to the body and release, knees to body are allowed, catching the kicks are allowed but will be stopped if held longer than 10 secs, sweeps are allowed, no spinning back fists, no spinning kicks, no head pull downs, no knees to the head and no head strikes for Juniors (u12). K1 Bouts: Adults 3 x 1.5 mins rounds | Juniors 3 x 1 mins rounds for Juniors (u12) - (non decision)

🥊 BOXING:

All bouts will be controlled on aggression and power. Its compulsory competitors wear the following: 14oz Boxing gloves (Juniors u12 8oz-10oz), gum shield, groin guard, chest guard (Juniors only) and advised to wear headguards. Boxing Bouts: Adults 3 x 1.5 mins rounds | Juniors (u12) 3 x 1 mins rounds - (non decision)

🥊 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐄𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐅𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐛 🥊

⭐ MMA: Gum Shield, Groin Guard, Shinguards, Headguard (optional) and MMA Sparring Gloves (6-8oz). MMA Gloves must be domed style (not like Pro MMA gloves).
