Memorial Day = Murph
A family day at the box, both actual family and the gym fam.
I love this lady, just shy of 8 months pregnant and doing Viking Murph - what a legend.
I also loved how many people we had come in to the box today. A great atmosphere.
I usually love the WOD Murph, but today wasn’t my day and for the first time ever... I tapped out and didn’t complete it.
Four weeks ago I started a Paleo KETO diet, I’ve lost about a stone, my energy levels are great and I’m functioning so much better in general...
However, I learned about the importance of carb cycling this morning when it comes to long ass WODs 😂😂🤦🏻♂️
I’ll do Murph again in a few weeks.
Ps. I’m the 🛎🔚 bottom right in the vest.
Shoulders, not really boulders.
Warm up set. Shallow split. Didn't need to be deeper.

60 second max lifts. Just playing about. We've sold a few stones lately and need to make some more, this is only the 13" so about 42kg.

Chaotic lines there. The wind was no where near as bad as forecast this eve. Dazzling setting sun at times. Missed that tonight though.
