Hi there, I'm Abbie,

I am the Queen of Recovery; The Body Fixer; The Founder of The Primal Woman.

All my life I had mild symptoms of Chronic Fatigue - I would go to the gym and work out with my friends and then I would crash for 2 days afterwards and experience excrutiating muscle pain. My friends and gym instructors would tell me to just keep on pushing myself "it's just the lactic acid" they said.

So I did. And I got worse. It NEVER got better even after months of forcing myself to go to the gym. So I eventually stopped going.

I also found that I had to have a slower pace of life than my friends. I wasnt able to fit as much stuff into a day than I see others doing - and I learned to live with that.

I gained weight slowly over the years - especially after having my children and I started to push up into the obese category.

I had triend every diet under the sun since the age of 13 if I'm honest. But what I didn't understand was that my insulin regulation was being damaged more and more with every diet that I tried. And the more I tried to reduce my calorie intake and starve myself - the more my natural human DNA wanted to protect me and hold onto my fat stores..... because my body was anticipating a famine was coming!

EVEN THOUGH I WAS OBESE - my body's natural hormones were trying to protect me and store my precious fat and add to the storage wherever and whenever possible!

So I was fat, anxious, depressed, energy depleted because I was calorie and protein deficient and I was probably nutrient and mineral deficient for decades too!

So of course it makes sense that when a virus (and two vaccines) like COVID hit me, of course my body and my immune system wasn't in the best state to fight it off.

I developed COVID anyway despite the vax and the fluid buildup in my abdomen was so bad I thought that was the end. I was stuck in a tent in a campsite at the time down in Devon Cornwall.

But I survived.

I was severely tired and lethargic after that always needing to rest.

The next year I got COVID again, and I was worse still. My heath declined down and down and down at a pretty rapid rate. I was in and out of the emergency room and at one point I was on the brink of full cardiac arrest and the Doctors were panicking around me.

My body had swolled to three times the size and yet I was dehydrated. My eyes were stone dry, my lips and mouth and tongue were stuck to the roof of my mouth.

My whole body was shutting down, cell by cell. I thought that day was my last day.

But thankfully I survived again.

I knew that if I got sick again, this time I probably wouldn't make it. So I started to study. And study. And study. And I started an online course in health and Nutrition.

At the time I developed 2 further autoimmune conditions and I was either at the Doctors OR at the hospital most days.

I discovered the effects of inflammation combined with insulin resistance on the body and that became my obsessive area of research!

To make ends meets during that time I was creating books and selling them on Amazon as I wasnt able to work as a business coach any more (which is what I had been doing) - so financially it was a struggle during that time whilst I was building up my book catalogue.

Fast forward to the present day and I currently run an online academy (called The Book Boss Academy) over on SKOOL teaching people - some who are sick like I was, some are retired, some are stay at home mothers and others are side hustlers.....and I teach them how to create books and sell them on Amazon.

And I absolutely LOVE creating books! Coloring books, fun books, puzzle books, activity books, journals, planners, non-fiction - you name it!

.....but my true passion is helping other women like me to RECOVER from POOR METABOLIC HEALTH.

Incidentally - my Grandmother was a PRIMAL WOMAN - she didnt know it.... but her choice of food was basic and natural - she mostly ate meat, low oxalate vegetables and ferments. She drank boiled water and very weakened lemon tea. She kept it really simple.

So besides running The Book Boss Academy, I am also really passionate about helping other women to recover from the misery of ill-health..........I help with fat loss but also the natural recovery of all sorts of other ailments (I am not a Doctor) but I help women to regain optimal body function and metabolic health.

I am also a Metabolic Scientist and I am currently studying my PhD part-time on the link between insulin and inflammation and metabolic health - often the cause of ill-health lies in the impact of elevated levels and excess insulin in the body (which is our master growth hormone and includes things like growing plaque on the brain - Alzheimers - growing cancers - growing fat cells!) and the imapt of excess insulin causes excess inflammation which hand in hand create a literal FIRESTORM in the body.

Just 1 year ago I was in and out of hospital or the doctors most days. I used a walking stick, a walking frame to help me stand up and sometimes even a wheelchair too.

My office for my work as a business coach was down in the basement and my husband had to dismantle it all for me because I couldn’t get back up the stairs to the living room without weeping and sobbing from the pain of my M.E.

It all started with burnout and some family trauma. And it was very close to ending in hospital one very dark day when my whole body was swollen to twice its size with fluids and my heart rate was so sky high I was close to cardiac arrest.

I knew back then that all my problems were all rooted in metabolic health. I don’t know how I knew. I just knew.

I did research. I read science papers and studies. I followed new world growth minded doctors who had broken out from the constrains of the general medical counsel and big pharma. And I educated myself.

Within 4 months I was virtually symptom free from all 3 of my autoimmune diseases and my symptoms also disappeared from everything else too - 2 mental health disorders included!

I also melted 50lbs of fat off my body in the process of getting well and healing my metabolism…

….but that was never my intention. I didn’t “go on a diet” to lose weight.

I was TOTALLY GOBSMACKED this Saturday just gone when I took a trip to Waterstones......and for a few different reasons....

1) I only purchased TWO BOOKS whilst I was in there! I normally come out with a whole pile of books but you cant tell from this photo how crowded it was inside the store! People were queueing from the front right to the back of the store. I HATE crowds so I chose a couple of books and braved the queue and then I quickly left. So the two books purchased was shocking in itself..... but there were a few even more shocking things too.....

2) That day I made 72 book sales myself on Amazon KDP! 72!!! That's the most book sales I think I have ever made in a day! Maybe xmas shoppers, end of month payday and Black Friday Weekend......... either way.......I just couldn't believe my eyes when I logged into my Amazon KDP dashboard! And I earn about £2-£3 per sale in book royalties. It's all passive income once the books are up on Amazon - for some books I'm running Ads but a most of them sell organically too. I'm not that good at running Ads yet as it's all pretty new to me I only started this business 9 months ago!

So that was really shocking - my big goal is 100 books in a day. I have decided to book myself in for a Spa day or go out somewhere really special when I hit that big goal!

3) The third thing I was totally shocked about was that it hadn't really hit me that I was selling real books until Saturday when I saw all those people queueing up in Waterstones holding their books!!!!!

Because my book business is all digital, I suppose I didnt really realise how real it all was! That's 72 people opening boxes over the next few days with my books inside! Almost 100 people taking my books out of that brown package! Isn't that totally mindbending!

I was emotional just thinking about it......because I've never really had a feeling that I was building an actual REAL business before...... despite being a Business Coach for 12 years....

.....the feeling you get when you create something that you can physically hold and touch and feel........is just SO INCREDIBLE and unlike anything else I have ever done before.

And as you know I got really sick last year and suddenly my income dropped from Hero to Zero pretty much overnight! So the security I feel knowing that Amazon has my books, they take the orders, they ship out my books, they deal with any shipping issues and customer service issues...........

...........once I have created and uploaded the books, I pretty much have nothing else to do apart from collect the royalties and possibly do some marketing/run some Ads depending on the books............some dont need marketing or ads.............some wouldnt even work with marketing or ads and some just sell organically from the Amazon Search Bar.

All in all after a really slow start when I first started this business back in February this year...........I'm so glad I did. And I'm so glad I didn't give up when it looked like I wasn't gonna make any sales ever! (there's always a learning curve right at the beginning!)

So if you've hit a wall in your business or in your worklife where you are looking to do something a bit different or if you want to spice your business up a bit or start a side hustle.....

I'm telling you now that with the advancement of AI tools, its never been faster or easier to create and publish books on Amazon KDP! This is literally a goldmine if you are an action taker and not a fluffer - then you will absolutely LOVE THIS!

HOW do you make sure your offers are BETTER than all the other options out there in the market ??

This is something that I have always given PRIORITY consideration to whenever I am creating any of my offers AND even whenever I am creating a new book.................yes even a Coloring Book!

But I have been pretty shocked lately to find that most business owners I have spoken to haven't even considered it AT ALL!

YIKES! This is a disaster in the making for sure!

EVEN WORSE.....some of them may have even purchased and read books like Hormozi's million dollar offers.........and yet they are STILL not even considering how their offers stands out in the market nor HOW can they make sure their offer is THE BEST OFFER out there! They don't even try to tweak or improve their offers!!!

And instead of realising that their offer is just not good enough to sell in the current market...................... instead they think they "need help with sales!" They "need more helpm with the marketing!"

And this is why all the Sales Coaches were all doing so well over the last 5 years! With messaging like "You know your offer is brilliant but yet it's still not selling......and that's because you don't know HOW to get it in front of enough people or the right people!!!" ...... "if you have a brilliant offer that you are proud of but not making the sales you would like to then come and join my blah blah blah sales accelerator program...."

So yeah these Sales Coaches ARE really speaking to the demands of what their ideal clients really "want" and "need" (which is GREAT FOR THEM!) but I would bet my bottom dollar that MOST of the people joining that sales accelerator program don't even have a viable offer to sell! And I don't see many Sales Coaches SCREENING people to check their offers have a USP and hit the criteria required for a truly irresistibe offer!

Anyway.....let me side step away from turning this post into a rant about screeing clients and about clients not really understanding the difference between what they want and what they really need....... Instead let me set out FOUR OF THE MAIN POINTERS that I do to ensure my offer is really great......hopefully you can take some of these pointers and use them to help you out with your offers too!

1) NAME OF OFFER......

The first thing I want to do whenever I create an offer is give it an exciting inspirational name - that is also CRYSTAL CLEAR about what it is and it doesnt require someone to think too hard about it. Too many times I see names like "Grow With Claire" or "Business Growth Hub" or "The Happiness Sisiterhood".......what does any of this actually "MEAN?" ...........nothing! This is why I call my Membership "The Book Boss Academy" because I am helping business owners to take simple book ideas and turn them into monthly passive income - and my 1:1 is called "Your Secret Weapon Offer" because I help them to create their very own secret weapon offer that always sells no matter what!

2) THE LOOK AND THE VIBE OF THE OFFER.....

The next thing I do is I make my offers LOOK and FEEL AMAAAZING - like something people can really see themselves joining. SO I will work really hard on the graphics, the colors and the design and the fonts to create something really beautiful and exciting

3) POSITION IN THE MARKET....

I look at what my competitors are offering and I quite simply make my offer better than theirs in some (or many) unique ways. With The Book Boss Academy I give more precise step by step training and resources than even the top high ticket programs do and I keep my membership ultra low ticket too........which in turn ensures that the vivbe and the feel of the community is high vibe and energised. My competitors charge 5 times what I do for their memberships and as a result they do not have the growth rates required to keep a community high vibe and so their offer feels flat and lifeless. My other competitors charge a one time fee for a course or a program and as a result their community have no life at all whatsoever. This is how I ensure that my offer is the best offer out there on the market.

4) WHAT IS BEING OFFERED.....

I also make sure that my offer has a lot of elements to it - additions and bonuses so that the offer looke and feels really AMAZING for example we have a 1 hour LIVE session every single day MOnday-Friday inside my Book Boss Academy! AND we also have monthly challenges/workshops and a monthly book audit too aswell as daily feedback opportunitites AND the opportunity to get a book published by us here ay Book Boss! We also drop a new course every month and we have a 24 hour WhatsApp Chat group!



So I hope that really helps you all to really think about your offers with a new light. These are the four main things I consider whenever I am creating an offer and I am always working on developing and improving these areas too!

Selling an offer isnt necessarily about getting it in front of more people because if the offer is not irresistible then it will not sell very well even if you were to put it in front of a thousand people today! And this is the thing I wish more people realised!

But you're not a designer! You're not an illustrator! "Coloring books are for kids!" I hear you cry!

NO!

Let me walk you through exactly WHY learning how to grow and scale a coloring book business is exactly the thing you need to be doing RIGHT NOW! You see.....now that Chat GPT 5.0 is now integrated with Dall.E AND now that we have such amazing AI tools right at our fingertips..... now you absolutely do not have to be a professional graphic designer, an artist or an illustrator in order to be able to create very high quality enjoyable coloring pages! AI has opened the doors for anyone and everyone to be able to create a coloring book business and a coloring book brand!

You can charge decent prices for a coloring book and when you use AI tools, it can take a matter of HOURS to create your book (where it might take a designer or an artist weeks to create!)

Actually having a successful coloring book brand is EASY, SIMPLE and FUN - and the successof it lies thoroughly in your business and strategic skills and not in your ability to draw......which makes it a really challenging and rewarding business for anybody!

The naysayers may say that "AI is evil" and "we should celebrate and support our hand-drawn artists" ...........but hows about we celebrate BOTH AI strategists AND hand-drawn artists! Just because one AI coloring book brand is successful online, this isnt going to take away from the fandom of Jenny Smith the handdrawn coloring book illustrator..... in fact what if Jenny were to learn to leverage her own expertise and skills by blending them with AI! We need to stop thinking about AI as "taking away from us" and instead starting thinking about how AI is going to help us ALL to expand and grow beyond all measure and expectation!

You can grow a coloring book brand that people LOVE and they return time after time as a repeat buyer of your books.......... especially if you look to build an adult coloring book brand! - one of my clients now has 60 coloring books and a lot of her fans buy every single book that she creates as soon as she releases it! Thats $600 per person from a MASS CUSTOMER BASE that is continuing to grow and grow every single day! (yes of course not everyone will purchase every single book but a lot of people will purchase more than one book!)

Now you do not even have to invest in Ad spend to sell your coloring books! You can showcase the books on social media and simply REPOST short videos of your coloring book being colored in.

For the FIRST TIME EVER you can also work to put your books on TikTok Shop and get TikTok Affiliates literally creating videos and selling your coloring books FOR YOU! You used to have to have over 1000 followers on TikTok to set up a TikTok shop and over 5000 followers to become an affiliate ....... but now you can totally set up a TikTok shop and join the revolution that is social selling (no more need to spend money on Ads or set up any ads or mess around with ads every day!)

SO HOW DOES IT WORK?

Well all you need to do to build an incredible coloring book business is just get started with your very fist book! Why not create an autumn or a Halloween themed one just to start off with?

And then............create another book that goes with the first one!

And then create another one that goes with both of them!

Start building a little brand of matching and similar coloring books each with a different theme! Think about WHO your coloring books are for and what other books they would like to see from you?

And then all you need to do is simply keep on building and building from there! Easy!

Perhaps you will get a cover designer to design your coloring book covers once you start making some money (or perhaps you will instruct a cover designer right from the start!) Perhaps you will work on optimising the quality of your coloring books.

You can work on your social media presence and drive more traffic to your coloring books! You can get a VA to post on all of your social media channels for you and work to create more viral videos!

You can start selling digital coloring pages on your website and also on an Etsy store too so thEN you dont need to pay for printing costs!

And you can literally build and grow your coloring book business up and up and up and UP and UP and even expand your business further into other books like color by numbers books, how to draw books or puzzle books for example!
