Elite Academy of Dance- Greenocks Royal Academy Classical Ballet School Inverclyde's only Royal Academy School of Classical Ballet. Established 2009. We also enter students every year for Royal Academy of Dance exams.

Pre School ballet classes age 2- 4, Graded ballet classes age 5- 18, Pointe Classes, Adult ballet Classes, Silverswan ballet Classes for the over 55s. Elite Academy of Dance is Inverclyde's only dedicated Royal Academy of Dance Classical Ballet School. Established in 2009 the school now offers classes for all ages and Royal Academy Grades. The highlight of the year is our Summer Shows where all s

tudents get the chance to show what they have learned during the year to family and friends. which now attract UCAS points for University/college from Grade 6 and above. Ballet for every age, right here in Greenock

There's a ballet class in Greenock for every stage of life, and most people don't realise quite how many doors are open at Elite Academy of Dance.

Little ones start with Pre-School Ballet, where a love of dance takes root through movement and music.

From there, Graded Classes build strength and poise year on year, each level preparing dancers for the next, right through to Pointe work for those ready for that milestone.

Grown-ups haven't been forgotten either. Adult Ballet classes welcome complete beginners and returning dancers alike, and our Silver Swans programme gives dancers aged 50 and over a graceful, social way to improve balance, strength and wellbeing.

Every class follows the RAD syllabus, so technique is built properly, at the right pace, with real exams to work towards.

Ballet isn't just for little ones in tutus, though we've got plenty of those too. At Elite Academy of Dance, we've built a pathway that starts at Pre-School Ballet and carries right through to classes for adults over 50.

Here's what's on offer this term:

Pre-School Ballet: where the love of dance starts, through music, imagination and movement
Graded Ballet Classes: RAD syllabus training that builds strength, poise and confidence, one level at a time
Pointe Classes: the milestone every young dancer works towards, taught safely and properly

Most people assume ballet is only for little ones in pink tutus, but that couldn't be further from the truth. At Elite Academy of Dance in Greenock, we have classes for absolutely everyone, from our youngest Pre-School Ballet beginners taking their very first steps, right through to our wonderful Silver Swans members who are proving that ballet gets better with age.

Whether your child is ready to fall in love with dance, your teenager is working towards pointe or graded exams, or you're an adult looking to build flexibility, posture, core strength, and real confidence, there's a place for you here. Our Adult Ballet Classes are open to all levels (no experience needed), and every class is a chance to move well, stand taller, and have a genuinely great time. We are absolutely delighted to share that our Summer Show Raffle raised an incredible £1,100.00!

A huge thank you to everyone who bought a ticket and supported our raffle. Your generosity has helped us raise this fantastic amount, which will be donated to the Proton Beam Therapy Experience Fund at The Christie in Manchester.

A very special congratulations to our lucky raffle winner, Scout Lochiel-Owen, who won a year of free classes at Elite Academy of Dance! 🩰✨ We hope you enjoy your prize!

We would also like to say a massive thank you to Eilidh Bonnar and her wonderful team, who worked so hard selling raffle tickets and helping us achieve such a fantastic total. We really couldn't have done it without you! ❤️
