Aikido Dojo Greenock was founded in 2010 by Brian Murray, 3rd Dan Iwama Ryu. Our dojo is affiliated to the Fundamental Aikido Association under the direction of Daniel Toutain Sensei, 6th Dan Aikido. At our dojo in Greenock, we practice the traditional style of Aikido as taught by the founder Morihei Ueshiba in his adopted home town of Iwama Japan, and preserved and codified by his senior student in Iwama, Morihiro Saito.

A reminder that we’re looking towards grading within the club during June.
Everyone has been focused on progress, with brilliant energy on the mat, and we’re all overcoming obstacles to train as often as possible.

Superb seminar with Daniel Toutain Sensei in Stevenage. Some great work on not only the vertical but also the horizontal axis. Inspiring.
