Lost 10kg. Feels like herself again. Exercise replacing anxiety medication.
Louise came in feeling older than her age, tired, and lost with food and training.
She didn't need a dramatic overhaul. She needed structure, someone to keep her accountable, and a plan she could actually stick to.
That's it. That's what changed everything.
If you're sitting on the fence about starting, her words say it better than I can.
"You can't feel any worse than you do now. So give it a go."

Leaving the gym destroyed isn't the goal.
Progress is lifting more than last week. Moving better than last month. Showing up when you don't feel like it.
Wrecking yourself every session just means you're knackered for the next one.
I've got a 7 day free trial for my small group sessions if you want to actually start training properly. Max 4 people, proper coaching.

A year at JD Gyms Greenock.
Watched a lot of people come through the doors. Some stuck around. Some didn't.
The ones who stuck still aren't the most motivated people I've ever trained. They were actually some of the most nervous when they started.
What they had wasn't fire. It was just the willingness to keep showing up when the fire went out.
If that sounds like you — I've got a 7 day free trial running for my small group training right now. Max 4 people. Proper coaching, not just a class.

The amount of people who come to me having gone to the gym for months and still feeling like they’re winging it every session.
No idea if what they’re doing is working. Picking exercises at random. Avoiding half the gym because nobody ever showed them how to use it.
That’s exhausting.
And it’s why people quit - not because they’re lazy, because there’s no feedback that any of it is doing anything.
A clear plan fixes that. You stop guessing and start actually making progress.

I’ve had people tell me they’ll start after the holiday. After the wedding. Once work calms down.
Six months later they’re saying the same thing.
Life doesn’t clear a path for you.
The people I work with who get results aren’t doing it in perfect conditions.
They’re doing it around kids, shift work, stressful jobs and social lives.
The right time is just now, with whatever you’ve got.

Had someone this week who had an absolute nightmare.
Sick, then a migraine, written off for most of it. Still got two sessions and two long walks done.
Then apologised to me for not doing more.
That’s the shift that happens when this becomes part of who you are rather than something you’re trying to do.
You stop looking for reasons to skip and start looking for ways to still do something.
That’s not something I can give you.
But the structure and accountability that gets you there — that bit I can help with.

None of those are excuses by the way. They’re just life.
The difference is having enough of a routine built up that one bad week doesn’t derail the whole thing.
You miss a session, you get back to it. You have a bad few days with food, the next day is just the next day.
That consistency compounds over months in a way that motivation alone never does.

And it catches folk out all the time.
Couple coffees with sugar.
Juice here and there.
Can of Coke without thinking.
Doesn’t feel like food. So it gets ignored.
Then the numbers don’t make sense.
It’s usually something small like that.
Not a full life overhaul.
