A great friendly against our Louth friends today! ⚽️👏

A really good run out for the boys, it was great to get back out there!

Two teams who play the right way and love to play good football – two great footballing sides who made it a really enjoyable game to watch. Both keepers made some fantastic stops throughout, keeping the game tight and even for most of the game. 🧤👏🏼

The final score was 5-3 to Louth, but the scoreline doesn't really reflect how close the game was for the majority of it. Towards the end, a couple of mistakes crept in, which we put down to tired legs and tired heads after the break.

⭐️ Parent's Player — Oakley ⭐️
Oakley got us off the mark with a stunning strike 🚀⚽️ Brilliant both attacking and defensively today, and playing out of his usual position, he adapted really well to the job. A fantastic all-round performance from Oaks, as always, never fails to give 100%👏🏼🔥

⭐ Manager’s Player — Louie M ⭐
Didn’t stop running! His willingness to get in front of defenders and make it difficult for them was brilliant. Always a threat running in behind, while also bringing others into play. Mixed things up brilliantly today and caused plenty of problems! 👏🏼🔥

Plenty of positives to take from today, and as we get the full side back together over the next few weeks, we'll get everyone back into the swing of things and get back to it! 💪

We finished the weekend with a friendly against Keelby Eagles U11s! ⚽️

The boys put in a performance that was hard to fault, the football, the movement on and off the ball, the willingness to interchange positions, and the attitude from the first whistle to the last were all outstanding. It was a joy to watch!

The hard work is paying off, and we can't wait to see what this group achieves as we prepare for life in the U11s 🙌

A big thank you to Keelby Eagles for the game. They were a great team to play against. We look forward to playing a few more friendlies against them in the future!

If Louie hadn't already deservedly won Parents' Player, he would of got Manager's Player too! Instead, this week's Manager's Player goes to the whole team, because that was a complete team performance!

A little late posting but on Sunday we had a friendly against Louth FC Reds U11s!

With the boys moving up to U11s from September, we've been arranging a number of friendlies against older opposition to help prepare them for the step up and give everyone plenty of valuable game time and today's game showed we can compete at this level.

Far more positives than negatives today. It's easy to focus on the result, but the first half showed exactly what we're capable of. We were the better team for long spells, moved the ball well, competed brilliantly, and created some great chances.

Keep believing, keep working hard, and we'll continue to improve.

🌟 Parents' Player of the Match: Louis Smith – A brilliant display from Louis, his attitude is never in question! A very well-deserved winner.🏆

👏 Manager's Player of the Match: Frankie P – Another player whose attitude never wavered. He was constantly willing to work up and down the pitch and linked the play really well throughout. Fully deserved! 🏆

PLAYER OF THE DAY - Oakley 🏆🏆⚽️

Taking home Parent's Player and Manager's Player today for his fantastic goal contributions and endless energy! It was brilliant to see him playing with a smile on his face again 😁

He does need to listen to the coach more though.. ('Low and Hard Oaks')... but he had other ideas and picked out the top corner instead! I think we'll forgive him just this once! 😂

We struggled to find the back of the net during the group stages, but when it mattered most, the lads stepped up and got the job done and I'm really pleased with some of the football we played today. This win takes Boro to an incredible 5 trophies this summer! What a team! 👏⚽️

So proud of every single one of the boys. What a way to finish our summer tournament season! 🤩

This Saturday we head off to the Crowle tournament for our final one of the summer. It's looking like another hot one, so plenty of water, plenty of shade, and let's hope the boys bring the same energy they've shown all season! 💪⚽

🏆 EUROPA LEAGUE CHAMPIONS! 🏆

Yesterday we headed to Hessle Rangers tournament and we came away as the Europa League winners! ⚽

The team were outstanding, showing fantastic teamwork, determination and some brilliant football throughout the day. Even more impressive, we only conceded one goal across the whole tournament! 💪

A massive well done to every single player. You all played your part and should be incredibly proud of yourselves. 🤩👏

Well done, boys! Another trophy in the cabinet and another fantastic day making memories together. Onwards and upwards! 💙⚽🏆

Instead of our usual training session, we decided to get the boys some extra game time with a friendly against our friends at Grimsby Borough Colts U10's ⚽

Despite the warm conditions, the lads never let the heat slow them down. Every single player put in a tremendous shift and should be proud of their efforts 🌞🥵

We moved the ball brilliantly, played some excellent football, and made it very difficult for the opposition to get near us. The teamwork, energy, and attitude that the boys showed tonight, we really couldn't ask for much more!

Frankie did absolutely everything that was asked of him tonight across multiple positions. He used the ball brilliantly, worked hard for the team, and was a constant threat whenever he was involved.

🏆 Parent's Player of the Match – Jacob
Jacob's work rate and attitude were top-notch from start to finish. This is the standard we know he's capable of producing week in, week out. A performance to be very proud of. 👏🏻
