Honestly as a Club getting tired of having to moan and write these status! BUT to see a lady her young daughter and dog walk up the middle of the 18th then on to the green playing 🤦🏽‍♀️ We understand the village is growing and getting busier but Tetney Golf Club is NOT A PARK! It’s so dangerous!! STICK TO THE PUBLIC FOOTPATH ONLY! If you are hit by a golf ball it can cause serious injury or worse!

⚠️ IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE ⚠️

To all walkers and dog walkers using or passing through the golf course:

You must stick to the designated public footpaths at all times. Do not walk along the private roads or through any parts of the golf course, particularly around the 11th hole and other playing areas.

We have received a growing number of complaints from our members about walkers and dog walkers crossing the course without stopping, waiting, or even looking to see if golfers are playing. This behaviour is dangerous and unacceptable.

Golf balls can travel at high speed and cause serious injury. If you choose to leave the public footpaths and walk on the golf course or private roads, you do so entirely at your own risk. The golf club cannot accept responsibility if you are struck by a golf ball after ignoring the designated routes.

Please respect the course, our members, and, most importantly, your own safety by staying on the public footpaths.
