Tetney Golf Club

22/09/2026

A little appreciation post for our very own John Cassie — a true Tetney Golf Club legend! 🏌️‍♂️👏

Always well thought of, always good for a laugh, and somehow always managing to put a smile on everyone’s face. John is one of those people who makes the club a better place just by being around.

A proper gentleman, a great character, and someone who is very much part of the Tetney Golf Club family. We’re lucky to have you, John! ❤️

And with it being his birthday tomorrow, we couldn’t let the occasion pass without giving the big man the appreciation he deserves.

Happy Birthday for tomorrow, John! 🎂🥳
Here’s to another year of laughs, good times, and hopefully a few decent rounds of golf! ⛳️🍻

Have a brilliant day, — you’re a legend!

Thank you to our Seniors Captain, Dave Foster, whose idea it was to run Saturdays Competition.
To those of you who took part in supporting Golfer + Non/Golfer, THANK YOU.

We managed to have a really enjoyable afternoon with Dave leading the way off the first tee.
Even the weather didn't dampen the enthusiasm in which the game was played.

Well done to all those that made the podium & received prizes.
A donation of £93 was possible to FLAG, our Senior Captains charity.
On behalf of Dave, & Andy, thank you. ⛳️
