Come along and join us on teh 29th of April for a charity gym clothes swap! Whether you're a member at our gym or you've just come across this post, feel free to come along and with your old/out grown gym favourites and swap them for some pre-loved sets! This is a great way to get some new clothes in a way that is good for the plannet and good for a charity (we chose this year).

All clothing you dontate must be wearable (no smelly sweat stained tops) and suitable for a new owner. You can drop off your items anytime before the 29th of April so we can get them somewhat organised for you to shop through!

And to emphasis, you don't have to be a member at Unit One to join this event! If you'd like to drop us a message and get involved please feel welcome!

Personal training is more than just a weekly training session. Personal training gives you the accountability, confidence, and guidance with nutrition and training that you need to help you create a lifestyle change - not just a quick fix result.

You have a goal, we both create a plan, then we both work together to achieve and make adjustments along the way.

You journey should be about you, and should evolve to suit you and any changes that occur.

If you get busier, maybe 2 x 30min sessions would suit better
If you get an injury, more mobility and re-hab would work better
If you want to see physical changes then nutrition alongside training would be worth looking at.

Like we've said, personal training is about more than a weekly session, it's the journey you go on over the weeks and months that is SO valuable it's hard to look back at life before it.

Off we go again...

1. Toilet roll supply really isn’t an issue
2. Waiting for lockdown to end isn’t ideal for your health and fitness
3. Training sessions on Zoom can produce great results with the right coaching
4. Train sessions on Zoom can be a car crash with the wrong coaching
5. A solid Bodyweight training plan has a huge crossover when returning to the gym
6. An Instagram bodyweight training plan is similar to a circus audition and will have zero crossover when returning to the gym
7. Your mindset will be what brings you through over anything else
8. If you’re struggling to eat all of the baking everyone is dropping at your door. I can help with that too

Read..

1. Virtual nights in drinking are a bit weird until you’re really drunk and then it’s just like being really drunk

2. If you run and don’t post on socials… you didn’t run

3. If you followed some of the workouts of instagram there is potential you could apply for the circus once lockdown is over

4. Calories absolutely do not count in lockdown
-
5. If there is one thing that should continue long past lockdown… It’s the daily baking and dropping at doorstep thing
-
6. It’s amazing how many people didn’t know we was allowed 60 minutes exercise a day pre corona
-
7. Turns out if we eat well, exercise a bit and look after ourselves. We are less likely to die 🤷🏼‍♂️

In the good old days we used to get together in club, have a laugh, have a sweat and even be able to touch each other for partner work!!

Now a days it’s different, yet we still get together, have a laugh and have a sweat! All via laptops, mobiles and iPads. Who would have ever thought I’d become friends with technology heh? We also get the little ones (children and dogs) joining in - which we love!!

TEAM ASSEMBLE! 💥💦💪🏻 (I’ve been watching too much avengers 🤣)
