- Ages 8+: £30/day (9.30–3.30)
- Under 8s: £15/day (9.30–11.30)

🎾 Junior Highlights - They’ve Been Everywhere!

Our juniors haven’t just been on court… they’ve been everywhere.

Tournaments, matchplays, summer sessions, Club Championships - you name it, they’ve turned up with rackets swinging and energy to spare.

Big efforts from our younger players stepping up age groups and taking on tougher draws.

Strong results across local and regional events, with plenty of tight matches and gritty wins.

Brilliant commitment from everyone who’s trained and competed through the heat. 🔥

The progress has been unreal - confidence growing, match experience building, and lots of proud moments for the club.

- Will & Jack - a superb U14 Boys win over Louth, showing great teamwork, confidence, and match discipline.

- Squad in Wimbledon Whites - looking sharp, classic, and very St James during recent squad sessions.

- Jack ⭐Runner Up - Goole

- Van - 3rd place at the Grade 4 U10s at Carisbrooke in Leicestershire. A fantastic effort.

- Max - an incredible run of results across multiple venues and age groups, showing consistency and high‑level tennis.

⭐Runner‑up Leicester Grade 4 Singles
⭐Runner‑up Thongsbridge U18 Summer Open
⭐Runner‑up Mens North & Midlands East Tour – Sandal
A huge commitment to his summer tennis, joined along the way by club teammates Joe and Ezra.

- Josh and Harry - team fixture

- Ezra - ⭐Winner at the Mens North & Midlands East Tour – Sandal.

- Oliver - ⭐Runner up at Leeds, producing strong tennis throughout the event and showing great composure in a tough draw. He also received a Fair Play Medal, recognised for his attitude, sportsmanship, and the way he carries himself on court - a brilliant achievement that reflects everything we value at St James.

🎾 Next up…

Onwards to the Lindum Lincolnshire Festival of Tennis next week - we’re looking forward to seeing so many of our St James players represent the club with pride.

Tomorrow, Wednesday 12th August, we’ll have the perfect view of the solar eclipse as it lines up with another of our stunning St James sunsets and Evening Adult Coaching which is open to members and non members

🌘Evening Adult Coaching
7:30pm-9:00pm
£10 / £8 members

Our courts open straight onto the western sky, giving you a calm, spacious spot to enjoy the colours and the eclipse safely.

Bring eclipse glasses if you have them and feel free to share your photos or tag the club - we’d love to see everyone’s view of this rare moment. 🌘

We’ve had such an amazing summer of tennis that we’ve barely had chance to post 🫣 the courts have been full, the sessions buzzing, and our coaches and players have been everywhere!

To kick things off, here’s an update from Head Coach Mark Henry, who was recently spotted out in the wild playing Doubles with Joe at the North & Midlands West Tour at Rugby Lawn Tennis Club and they came away with winners medals!
