Huge congratulations to our midfield star Alicia, who tonight won Crofts Estate Agents Youth Football League - Grimsby Young Referee of the Year 2025/26! 🏆⚽👏

What an incredible achievement and one she should be immensely proud of, because we certainly are! 🤜🤛

In her FIRST full season as a qualified referee, Alicia has shown outstanding growth, confidence, composure, and a brilliant understanding of the laws of the game. To step onto the pitch and make big decisions takes courage, knowledge, and character and Alicia has all three 💪📖🧠

Refereeing isn’t always easy, but it is absolutely vital. Without referees, there is no game 🙌

We love seeing our players grow not only as footballers, but as leaders within the game. Alicia’s future in football is incredibly bright, and this award is just the beginning 🌟

What a fantastic day for our girls at the South Cave Sporting Football Tournament! ⚽💙❤️

Our Red team had an amazing tournament, finishing second in their group and reaching the Champions Cup quarter-final, where they narrowly missed out against an incredible footballing side and the eventual winners, East Hull Falcons Gold. What a performance! 🔥

Our Blue team also put in a brilliant display, finishing third in their group before battling all the way to the Europa Cup Final against Cleethorpes Town FC U16s Ladies. It was heartbreak at the very end as we conceded a last-minute goal, but what a journey they had against some incredible sides 🤜🤛 Congratulations to Kirk, Brett, and the girls for an outstanding final 🤝👏

The biggest positive from the day wasn’t the results it was the incredible feedback we received from opposition managers, praising not only the quality of football we played, but also the respect, attitude and approach shown by our girls throughout the tournament ❤️

We are so grateful to South Cave Sporting Club for organising such a superb tournament and giving the girls an unforgettable experience. Hopefully we will be back next year 🙏

✨⚽️ A fantastic evening celebrating the women’s and girls’ game ⚽️✨

Last night our girls attended the Lincolnshire Women’s & Girls Football League Awards Evening a brilliant night recognising achievements, dedication and the love we all share for the game ❤️🏆

The girls were invited as U15 Premier League Runners-Up, an achievement that they should all be incredibly proud of 👏 Congratulations to Dale Park U15’s on becoming league champions 🏅⚽️

One of the best parts of the evening was seeing our girls applauding and celebrating the success of others across the leagues. Moments like that show what grassroots football is truly about respect, friendships, memories and supporting one another both on and off the pitch 💙🖤

A huge thank you to the Lincolnshire Women & Girls Football League and all of their committee members for putting on another great season and such a special evening for everyone involved 👏✨
