Another disappointing set of results last week against tough opposition. 1st XI lost the toss on a wet pitch making it tough to score runs however after late flurries from Rich Griffin with 36 and Stu Harvey with 42* we managed to get 157-9. These were knocked in reasonably comfortable fashion by Outcasts losing just 3 wickets. 2nd XI managed to win the toss on a lively wicket and bowled Broughton 2nds out for just 99, wickets were shared across the bowlers but Neil Thompson led the way with 4-20 off his 9 overs. After a solid start with the bat reaching 50 for 0 between Scott Grice and Paul Morgan, the 2nds struggled to make any further contributions and were bowled out for just 65.

Another good test for the 1st XI this week away to Cherry Willingham and the 2nd XI host Haxey 2nds in search for some positive results compared to recent weeks!! 🏏🏏
