Puttenham is a friendly member owned Golf Club that welcomes golfers of all ages and abilities. There are practice facilities and a driving range.

Welcome to Puttenham one of the oldest and finest golf clubs in the South East which was formed in 1894 by a group of Army Officers, Charterhouse School Masters and local businessmen. Whether it was a strategic military decision or just luck they chose well when deciding to build it on land that drained naturally. Puttenham is proud of it's reputation as a one of the friendliest clubs in the sout

Congratulations to the team from Romsey Golf Club who were victorious in the Puttenham Golf Club Men's Seniors Classic on Thursday 10th October with a team stableford score of 90 points.

Congratulations to Jayne Alderman & Karen Shanks who successfully raised £1452 for the Anthony Nolan Blood Cancer Charity at the Shanks Trophy Ladies Competition at Puttenham Golf Club on Sunday 22nd September. Despite the intense rain that fell for most of the day 29 lady Puttenham Golf Club members endured the weather in support of both Jayne & Karen. The eventual winner of the event was Sue Price (pictured collecting the trophy with Jayne & Karen) who recorded a fantastic 38 stableford points in the very trying conditions. Well done to all who took part.

Congratulations to the team from Ham Manor Golf Club for winning the Seniors Victoria Classic on Thursday 3rd October with a fantastic team stableford score of 118 points. Following an epic final day at the Club Championships on Sunday 7th July which included 3 weather delays and a play off that finished in the dark, congratulations to Dan Smith and Sarah Dyason for winning the men's and ladies scratch championships.

Congratulations to Puttenham Golf Club Men's Captain Michael Erlebach, and Farnham Golf Club Men's Captain Mark Fewings, who together won the Puttenham Golf Club Seniors Invitation today (13th June) with a Betterball Stableford score of 44 points. Very well played!

Congratulations to Farnham Golf Club who made a stunning comeback by winning the final three singles matches to claim victory in the Hogs Cup by a single point at Puttenham Golf Club yesterday (Saturday 8th June). It was another hard fought contest in this annual Ryder Cup style match. Puttenham GC will be looking to win back the cup when the match returns to Farnham Golf Club in 2025.

Update from the Hogs Cup. Puttenham made a great comeback in the afternoon foursomes taking the session 4 and a half points to 1 and a half. So Puttenham Golf Club will take a 2 point lead over Farnham Golf Club moving into tomorrows 12 singles matches. Good luck guys!

The annual Hogs Cup (Ryder Cup style) match between Puttenham Golf Club & Farnham Golf Club is taking place at Puttenham over Friday 7th & Saturday 8th June. Following the morning fourball matches Farnham have taken a slim 1 point lead (3.5 - 2.5) heading into the afternoon foursomes, so all to play for. The match concludes with 12 singles matches on Saturday afternoon so still a very long way to go.

Many Congratulations to Division 1 winner Yvonne Chubb & Division 2 and Overall winner of the Ladies Captains Day Sue Vardy. Pictured is Sue Vardy being presented the Joy Macdowel Trophy from Ladies Captain Annette Kinge and Joy Macdowel, along with Men's Captain Michael Erlebach. Sue took the overall prize on count back with 36 stableford points. Well done Sue!

Congratulations to all the winners over Captains Weekend. On Saturday 1st June John Irlam picked up the Buckley Cup following an unbeatable score of 42 stableford points, and Debs Sparham was victorious in the Ladies Claret Jug with a 37 point total. On Men's Captains Day on Sunday 2nd June the Norman Furse Salver was won by David Nubbert with a two round total of 72 points, and Tony Wyatt was victorious in his own event claiming the Tony Wyatt Trophy with 36 points.
