🏏 A Historic Evening for Wood Street Village Cricket Club's Women's Team 🏏

Last Monday saw our newly formed Women's Softball Team take to the field for their very first fixture, hosting Pirbright at Wood Street Village Cricket Club.

Although the result didn't go our way, it was a fantastic evening of cricket, friendship and fun, and every player should be incredibly proud of being part of this milestone for the club.

A special mention goes to our captain, Amelia F, who led the team superbly on a memorable evening for everyone involved. 👏

Congratulations to Pirbright, who were worthy winners and wonderful opponents. We look forward to the return fixture!

Come along to our free taster session – open to all abilities, ages 14+. Whether you’re picking up a bat for the first time or already play, everyone’s welcome!

All equipment provided and led by our own Level 3 Surrey Cricket coach.

We take on Guildford CC at 12pm, followed by Frimley CC Vs Bramley CC at 3pm.
