π A Historic Evening for Wood Street Village Cricket Club's Women's Team π
Last Monday saw our newly formed Women's Softball Team take to the field for their very first fixture, hosting Pirbright at Wood Street Village Cricket Club.
Although the result didn't go our way, it was a fantastic evening of cricket, friendship and fun, and every player should be incredibly proud of being part of this milestone for the club.
A special mention goes to our captain, Amelia F, who led the team superbly on a memorable evening for everyone involved. π
Congratulations to Pirbright, who were worthy winners and wonderful opponents. We look forward to the return fixture!
Thank you to everyone who came along to support the team. ππ
