The first Guildford tournament for 5 years was a triumph! The sun finally came out, there was a bustling tombola, splendid raffle and lovely atmosphere. Thanks to all the Guildford team for their hard work and to all the teams who came and played. Congratulations to Ewhurst for winning again today as they did in our last tournament.

Very proud of Guildford Stoolball Club as 4 of its members braved the abseil off Guildford Cathedral tower.
They have raised over £1000 for Parkinson’s U.K.

What better way is there to spend a summer’s evening than playing stoolball in the beautiful Surrey Hills?

Happiness and sadness in todays match against Beare Green. Happiness at the scoreline and our tremendous batting display, but sadness that the lovely Lesley finally really is leaving us, after 27 years.
We’ll miss you Lesley

As Claudia couldn’t make our recent social and prize giving evening, Lesley presented her with the ‘Most Improved Player of the Season’ trophy. Claudia was very surprised and delighted to have won such a prestigious award! Well done Claud! 🏆

Well done to Alfold, winners of today’s Tournament and all those teams that came along and persevered with the awful rain! However the sun came out and we were able to enjoy a fun day! Thank you also to the Umpires, Scorers and little ‘Treasures’ in the kitchen - Julia, Vicky and Claudia, not forgetting Mo who did a splendid job on the tombola! 👏🏻🌈☔️ ☀️
