The 1XI are officially safe after their first ever season in Division 1 of the I’anson with two games left🏏

A top achievement confirmed by a stunning win away at Frensham - more early wickets fell in pursuit of 211 to win. A massive 8th wicket partnership from Will W and the skipper saw us home with a ball to spare - and a scoop finished it off!

Our tour to Cardiff is complete - and a very good one at that three. Three games at brilliant host club and phenomenal grounds - and some good (and less good) cricket played.

Some group of people to share a great few days with - even if the London Spirit now don’t like us👀

As the season moves into later stages - some key milestones have been reached!

Particular well done to the best we have ever had - Ali Holmes who now has the most recorded I’anson tons (according to play cricket).

As we reach the final third of the league season - here’s an update on how things stand🏏

The 1XI have turned things around very impressively - having lost the four games in May - the side haven’t lost a game since. Three big wins and three winning draws leave us in 5th with the side targeting a top four finish. Not bad for our first ever year in the top division.

The 2XI have also recovered after a challenging start to the season - and now are firmly in the race for promotion in Division 5.

Both teams once again doing well and doing brilliantly off the back of promotions last year.

What a week of cricket we’ve over the past seven days!

Last Saturday, the 1XI secured their first win in Division 1 in comprehensive style against Frensham. Ali with his second ton of the season and Seb flying through their top order. The 2XI made it a perfect Saturday winning comfortably at Stedham.

Whilst, a defeat came on Sunday at Frimley, it was still a great day - with new Club President John Watters taking his 650th wicket for the club having only joined in his mid sixties.

Both Midweek teams then also went onto win and keep the hunt alive for silverware.

Let’s hope this weekend can match it - with the 1XI travelling to Dogmersfield, the 2XI hosting Churt and Sunday team away at Grayswood. But most importantly our new women’s team are due to play their first (modern) game at Gosden Common on Sunday afternoon🏏
